What a relief. First win in six games. Now onto the next game on Monday. Relentless isn't it?!

Great win and so very needed. Bit confused by Bruce post match. The comments on Elphick are ridiculous. Basically saying I was going to drop him but Whelan was ill. Fantastic stuff Steve.

Then this: "We lurch along, we played badly against Brentford second half and all of a sudden we're in crisis.....We can't be just going along quite nicely and then we're in crisis." 1 win in 6. Before today 2 points out of 15 and he's having a swipe? Don't get it at all. Still great win!!

I think sometimes Bruce doesn't engage brain before opening his mouth. The same can be said about some of his team selections too. But, it was a good win today, one I certainly didn't expect.

Excellent win when not many were giving us any hope. Would be good to see RHM start in place of Hogan on Monday and please dont revert back to Whelan and Jedi together.

Any win on the road is very welcome, great to see a young bench, Bruce will probably revert to putting both Whelan and Gabby back in as soon as he can, not impressed with the way he treats the fans with contempt. The next game is another 'must win' , draw not acceptable, would be good to see us on the front foot from the start.

Well done, Brucie. Good win. BUT your idea of a player, team selection and tactics led me to miss a game for the first time in nine years. You then have the brass neck to suggest that yesterday “shuts one or two up”. One or two of the people that pay your over inflated salary, eh, Steve? Gave you the benefit of the doubt, first time you did it but now enough is enough. So my message to you for 2018 is “BUGGER OFF AND TAKE YOUR FLEET OF COACHES WITH YOU.” Sorry for not “shutting up”.

I HAVe to agree with the sentiment here. Please can someone explain how his crisis mantra is actually bringing his own down fall? Surely we can access the manager in a non confronting way and explain this? He has made so many mistakes with team selections but also our performances have been dire. Bristol City will be a very tough game based on these performances. That’s not crisis, just bad management. And boring. Paying for boring, it’s not right. Pleased we won but let’s not paper over the cracks SB.

Elphick had a good game, give him some credit, don't treat him like he's not a member of the squad anymore Mr Bruce. Anybody that plays well deserves a chance in the team, but you don't see it that way and you wonder why we complain.

That result helped return the smile to the face but getting peeved by Bruce constantly referring to the club always being one week away from a crisis. Does anyone else feel that it is totally condescending??? As former champions of Europe, and a squad spend multiple times that of the average of the completion we play in, the fact we are struggling to establish a play off place (there should be daylight between us and the rest on a £ per point basis ) shouldn’t be dismissed lightly by a manager who is developing a glass jaw. At the end off the day, it’s only results that matter and eventhough we still have (less than) half a season to go, you can only go give him a “C” at best at this stage. We have been unlucky with injuries -yes but it is the fact that there seems to be no tactical nous week to week that is concerning. To me Steve picks purely on personality rather than 1) form, 2) the balance of the squad and 3) the opponent we are up against. From this result, do you think he might learn of the benefits of picking people inform or at least playing in their specialised position (even just to make the other manager have to think of a game plan)? Or does he just go back to his old ways? I know where I would put my money - unless injuries/ sickness proves good luck for us for 2 games in a row.
