In summary. Meh. We cannot be losing points like that having taken a 2-0 lead. We really are so pedestrian it's untrue.

Villa Park. The factory of sadness. Just not good enough. We are so pedestrian and second to so many balls. Two up and we fell apart. Ridiculous.

I predicted a draw, but was deflates me is the fact that we were 2 up and get pegged back to 2-2 by mistakes. We are not winning anymore, which is worrying. However, Bruce still insists with having 'Dads Army' on the bench and not a whiff of youth.... disgusting!!!!

Looking more like Hull City every day, Why on earth we sold Baker is beyond me.

'You can't account for individual errors' ??? You can certainly help avoid them if you play those individuals in the right positions and get your shape and tactics sorted. Its down to management !! Hogan, Hourihane, Lansbury all doing very well at their respective clubs (at this level) before coming to us. What has happened to them? Can it be down to management?? Snodgrass and Onomah, on loan, not good enough and stopping our better young players getting in the team!! again down to management!! Simply not good enough and change is needed now!!!

Quote of the Century from Bruce " now we have Gabby fit we should be OK ". Villa policy has been wrong for at least 10 years constantly ignoring our young players or playing players out of position eg Jedinak. Once again even if we go up and it's a big if we won't stay because apart from maybe Davis,Grealish and Johnstone we have no Premier class players.

I don't want to be a knocker, I don't want to keep changing managers, but this is dour. And the individual errors, that's down to square pegs/round holes and bringing in older players who are not up to it as well surely? You can account for individual errors when you put an aging midfielder in central defence having replaced Baker with an injury prone (fair enough, Baker got a fair share) old tank like Samba. Arrgghhh. We disappeared after ten minutes. It is just not good enough.

For all the criticism of Jedinak playing at the back, most people on here would have picked him at CB ahead of Elphick as well, before last nights performance. Baker wanted first team football and he wasnt going to get it when both JT and Chester are fit, so we tried to be fair by him and let him leave - he was always injured as well though. I've no idea how good Suliman is, but its times like this when we should be at least putting him on the bench. Biggest problem for me is how toothless we look up front - as soon as we get into the final third it all falls apart. I hope we have a decent striker lined up for the start of January or we will most likely fall out the top 6.

This was awful. Two nil up after ten minutes and we then fall apart. Losing faith in Bruce if I’m honest. I won’t watch the Brentford game as it will be the same old story and I’m getting fed up of it. Is Hogan fit or not. If he is why isn’t he playing and if not why is he on the bench. We need a striker in January but as people have said why is it players we buy are good for their clubs but when we get them they seem to become worse. Wonder if Agnew as director of coaching can turn things around. We will have to wait and see.

This season is finely balanced, it can go either way - glory or disaster. I'm worried that it's going to be the latter.
