I love away wins! Still can't get my head around lost points at home though. A good day's work lads!

26 attempts on goal??? Goodness that's more than all games last season! Pity more weren't on target!

26...... I thought it was a typo, so I checked on the bbc site. 26 it is!

Great result today after conceding a sloppy first half goal. Some really good individual performances today from Davis, Onomah, Hourihane, Snodgrass, Chester and Adomah!!! They were the stand outs but a good overall team performance. If truth be told we could and should of had a hat full today. Great response after the international break and losing to Sheffield Wednesday. Play like that more and we will be where we want to be. And one passing note, being apart of the 3000+ fans that were at the game today was immense. The noise we made and the support even after going 1 down was amazing. It was like a home game the noise we made! Pride, Passion, Purpose! Can't some us up anymore than that UTV!

Great win on a ground where Wolves and Sheff Utd both lost recently. Having said that, it shows just how tough the Championship is, with no room for any lapses in form. You can make stats do anything, but over last half dozen games we have gained no ground on all our top 6 rivals, and actually lost ground on five of them (4 points on Wolves & Sheff Utd, 3 on Derby, 1 on Bristol City & Middlesbrough). Level pegging with Cardiff. Two home wins next can change that. There will be lapses in others. Go for it Villa!

Fabulous, delighted, momentum again with two home games to come. Imagine losing Kodjia last season? We'd have been done for. This season, we aren't relying on just one player.

Feels like a 4pointer win to me without Terry and Kodjia. If the squad can keep us going with roughly the same points to game ratio until their return, then we will have a huge psychological feel good factor as we enter tail end of the season. Fear no one lads!!!!

Well done SB and the boys! We are slowly changing our mentality and are starting to look and feel like the real deal. Finally looking as though the players believe we can win any game anywhere. Without Terry and Kodjia and away to QPR who've been good at home of late it's an excellent result. Great way to start the important winter run. Must keep the foot on the pedal and work our way into the automatic promotion positions.

I don’t live in Birmingham, but my sister texted me in the morning “Walking through town and heard some villa songs being chanted...They were so loud...but sounded good ??”. She’s not even a football fan! Well done the away fans, it gave me a sneaky feeling we could win. I wonder how loud they were on the way back! (Just a bit jealous I couldn’t make this one).
