Sad news about JT. 1-0 down within 20 seconds. Midfield useless until O'Hare and Grealish come on. Oh, and would Melbourne City like Hogan too? We go again!?

Got to put it down as a very bad day with no luck (miracle goal after 20 secs killed us) and quickly put this behind us. Luckily other results helped us but losing JT is beyond massive and devastating. Hopefully Snod not too bad. Great to have Grealish back and want to see more of O'Hare. Hogan as much as I've wanted him to work has to go in Jan and shouldn't get a run again, done absolutely nothing in a Villa shirt and no sign of anything either. Striker priority in Jan.

Agree with AdzV , will be interesting he he picks, probably on the bench for centre half coverage , is it time for Sulimann to step up ? Thought we looked better with O'Hare and Grealish on. The big worry is still goals , we really didn't worry there goal keeper that much, its been our achilles heal for too long and if we are going to get into the top two, and thats where we must be aiming, we can't leave promotion to the 'lottery of the play-offs , the need for someone to score week in week out is paramount.

25 million wasted on strikers is costing us big. Go all out for Gayle in January.

Really poor start to the game that we couldnt recover from. Hogan has been a big disappointment, he looked quality at Brentford but now his confidence looks completely shot. I really can not see anyone coming in for him who would give us half of what we paid, or even match his wages. Back to 451 next week please Brucey, with JT out we need to protect our defence more, hopefully with Jedi in front of them.
