"Character" with a capital "C"!
Virginia Villan
Back to back wins from a losing position in both... Unbelievable Jeff
CDX_Eire
we now have the momentum to finally bury our relegation fears.
fulford
Well done,guzan was class
kenner
The game had everything today, rode our luck in the first half after a bright start ...... Gabby gave us the lifeline then we went on and took it to them .... end to end second half Weimann and Guzan immense today. Bring on Liverpool ! .... UTV

I'll find it hard to sleep tonight. I want to go out on the *****, but it's 12.45am here.......
Pride of Lions
LOL Pride, have a beer homeinstead dude, im buzzin iam proud and very emotional now im back, what a game, i feel like i died and comeback lol we are nearly there now few more wins and draws should be enough by god Villa don't do things easy do they lol
CLIVETHEVILLAN
A goal each for the strikers and 3 points, now maybe people will start to understand that we'll be alright.
Villan444
Brilliant stuff, well done lads! Lets kick on and get points in all of our remaining matches! UTV
sherlockgt
1st back to back victories since May 2011 !!!!!!!!
Villan444
Superb performance, crap ref, great support. First five minutes I don't think QPR touched the ball. Guzan kept us in it but actually felt we were the better side throughout and if lowton had scored to make it 3 -1 it would have been far more comfortable at the end. Definitely gonna be a few beers drunk tonight!!!
AVbornandbred
Absolutely huge win and deserved. Guzan and Weimann men of the match and key to the game.
mike_field
Fantastic result. One of the best atmospheres at Villa Park in a long time. The boys really fought for it today, full credit to them. Guzans one save was out of this world and Andi was brilliant, get him to sign that new contract ASAP!!
Lion Heart
Must win. Did win. Feared the worst first half but brad Guzan pulled off some wonderful saves to keep us in it and then the gift of an unmarked Gabby just before half time! Second half, thrilling!
The Fear
YES!! Great result, plus the fact it was against Arry and the Jeremy Kyle Man City just makes this win all the more enjoyable. First back to back wins since 2011. The escape is on. UTV!!

The Aston Hotel was jumping afterwards. Then went to the King Edward. Everyone was singing, arm in arm. Amazing day.

I said 3-1 but I'll take 3-2 everyday of the week!! Playing some nice passing football, the future looks bright if we stay up and make a couple of solid signings in the summer. Love the passing game boys, keep it up!! UTV

Now is the time to say this: to all the people on here who have slagged off Gabby this season, on behalf of him and from me - ***** RIGHT OFF. I will never slag off someone who I know is Villa, even if no longer with us (eg Cahill, even when he got sent off in Japan) and for me, GA was man of the match, and he turned last weeks game as well. To anyone who was in the Holte today - awesomeness, you even managed to drown out Trevor Francis, for once. The club needs to amend their contract with Sky to the effect that that stupid sheep shagger never be allowed to commentate on a Villa game again. Sick to the teeth in my stomach of listening to his whiney Worzel Gummidge voice.
malacaxeta
That would be a couple of solid signings and a couple of contract enhancements / extensions.

Guzan was fantastic but has been all season really. Not his fault the team in front of him have given the opposition so many chances that he has been unable to keep clean sheets.
Not sure about the POLL with the two MAIN contenders being allocated CAPITAL letters - is this a MARKETING technique being used to help us cast our votes?

5th in the prem Form League - got to laugh
RiF
HELL yes RIF, they deserve to share it lol
mike_field
Can someone just fast forward the rest of the season, can't take it, well done to all involved. UTV

We've got a future England international in the team - Ash Westwood is turning into something special
PiperUK
If we now have goal line technology (ENG v GER, World Cup, jumpers for goalposts) then surely, after every game, we can see the list of "events" that the ref thinks add up to 3-4-5 mins extra time...as we saw Dilbert demanding that the 4th official show him the list yesterday. There were only four subs in the 2nd half (4 X 30 secs) so where is the other three minutes comng from? I don't recall any significant injury stoppages after the interval....was it, Arry Time ? And if most things increment in 30 second slices, then why not 3.5 mins extra time, why does it have to be rounded up??
malacaxeta
Relieved to get the three points, nice to see the team showing guts and fight. Got to agree with you malacaxeta also watched it on sky later. Was Francis at the same game ? I know hes ex blue nose but he wouldnt give Villa credit for anything.
Merlin128777
Guzan kept us in the first half... fantastic saves. Nice to see a dominant possession stat.
