Decent performance but its results that count now. Defended really well but made one stupid mistake and it cost. Main concern was that we didn't create much. Major blow losing Delph for the two vital games. He has been improving every week. Reading and QPR results will define our season imo

Clark was an idiot pussy footing around when he was last man instead of hoofing it away, he should know better by now, no creativity again and 1 shot onon target , dire

I'd rate it as a good display.Keep that up and there might be a crack of light somewhere . Huge respect to the crowd , great atmosphere , heard from SF !

Didn't really deserve to win but didn't deserve to get beat. Thought we looked better when we went forward with purpose, too much of this keep possession play backwards football. Really do need to have more shots at goal.

delph was class. on an incredibly negative note, him and westwood would be the best cm pairing in the championship...

Delph is showing his ability after a constant run which lots of us knew he had. On current form, we don't deserve to be relegated but its taken us so long to get here that we may have missed the bus. We'll be alright....

Stupid, stupid, stuuuuuuuupid mistake by Clark!! Who does he think he is doing that back there?? Let's hope it's lesson learnt and he won't ever do that again. The ref was rubbish pulling up Benteke for merely jumping was a joke. Good performance, the team is growing and players like Delph are getting better each game, we deserved a draw no doubt about that. HAVE to make it happen against Reading and QPR now. Come on boys!! UTV!!

Delp was good and looks like he will get better. Westwood also getting better. Gabby not suited to the role he was given - no chance to scare the opposition with pace. Benteke and Weimann need to work together a bit better. Some good things going on, but time is not on our side. That's the problem. Those terrible results over Christmas really did for us. We needed some strong management then and I think Lambert was weak. We needed experience on the pitch then and we didn't have any - Lambert was wrong. BUT you can see that this plan will come good ....... eventually. Maybe not enough time, though and that would be a disaster.

Can I just mention that I said Fabian Delph was a good player ages ago. And you all shot me down in flames.

I've also been a fan of delph but never of clarke!! When I've been saying he's not good enough I've been hammered!! If the art of premier league defending is to casually hope on someone's back for a piggy back I should of been signed up years ago!!

to the comment above - Guzan's saves were not against the rules. The appalling not-a-penalty decision was not the only "mistake" that Dean made. He seemed to have a h***-on for Benteke all night, too many challenge decisions given against. And those stats are rubbish - I dont remember Holman replacing Andi after 65 minutes, and I believe we had more possession than that.
