Blimey, low attendance that. Result is all that matters, onwards we go. 4th round draw tomorrow afternoon on itv.
The Fear
Very good to see Benty score, Andi Weimann keep up his great play, and simply have experienced players back fit. Now let's see what we can do with perhaps a key addition or two in January.
Virginia Villan
Notice that Wiemann only played half as much as Bent and they both only scored 1 each. Does that make Wiemann twice as good???
Villan444
Good win for the confidence that. I'm surprised we broke the 20k mark to be honest...
olofthegreat
Ha! That's what we need - some (finally) healthy competition between our strikers!
Virginia Villan
Disappointed Carruthers still hasnt got a kick...
CDX_EIRE
How did bent and n'zogbia? I want to see Carruthers get some game time too. Looked dangerous at the back end of last year and thought would kick on!
ajvilla29
How did they get on?!!! Should really check before posting!
ajvilla29
Bent and N'Zog both played well, Delph too had a good game and Bennett was voted MotM.
kojak
Weimann is such an exciting prospect - finishes with a confidence not seen since Gary Shaw.
JimmyG
It would be great to see Zog wake up and become a key player for us... Thats probably more of a dream than Lescott coming in...
CDX_EIRE
Don't want to jinx it so i'll whisper.......the treble's on! ;-)

Ipswich played well, looked dangerous at times. Centre backs still lack confidence IMO, and the jury is out on Lowton. I told you the other day that Delph was decent and I got shot down in flames. Still stand by that. He was great today and did a couple of tricks as well. Benty did nothing apart from his goal. The difference was Gabby. After he came on the confidence levels went up, he was immense.
PiperUK
Yeah Delph is good against championship level, still to see it 3 seasons in the prem. Great to see Bent, Gabby & NZogbia get involved and make telling contributions hopefully they can take it into the League Cup and then more importantly the prem. Weimann is in great form and his finishing has been class, keep it up lad!
AdzVilla11
Agree with Adz 100%.
koolbill
I too am disappointed Carruthers didn't get some time on the pitch..... what does he have to do?
