interesting to see no senior centre halves in the squad
AVbornandbred
Updated. Dunne injured don't forget.
mike_field
Yeah we didn't have any :) looking forward to seeing Vlaar in action though!
Matt_the_Villain
Delph has played 2 games and not got injured or sent off. Hallelujah!! A decent manager can change a player from an also ran to a hero. In the MON mould.... In Lambert we trust!!!
Villan444
Who was Das Kapitan??
Villan444
Mighty Delph was El Capitano...
CDX_EIRE
Delph started as Capitan, Ireland took over...no idea who took the armband when Ireland went off though. Hasn't been mentioned.
mike_field
Is that the ex Villa reserve keeper in goal for Posh?
Colney Villa
I was thinking that too Colney......
Pride of Lions
Yes it was, nice to see the left foot of Holman on form again after a long PASSING phase!
Charizma
The fact that we didn't have any centre halves was kind of my point, although I was surprised not to see Clark. Wouldreally like us to move Dunn out and bring in another CB to cover Clark and Vlaar.
AVbornandbred
Would love to see some possession stats as we were abysmal there last season - barely ever got out of the medium 40% range....
YatesyVillan
How did El Ahmadi play? Just been on holiday and were loads of Dutch people there, raved about him, including "a real loss to Dutch football" and "as good as anybody at one touch footy". Exciting times...
onlyteaminthemids
Yup Colney, Bobby Olejnik, think Farrell might have been an old boy too, name is familiar?
