For christ sake Just go alex.
lerneravfc
Two poor teams. Feel sorry for the people who paid money and went to watch that rubbish.
Ams78
the fans did everything they could to get the team fired up... and we got nothing.
Zarch
another absolute disgrace...... if Lerner doesn't recognise the facts, he must be STUPID!
Pride of Lions
Why Ams78 ? Its nearly May so I presume by now they've got a good idea what *****e they're going to see served up - dont you think?
bsixer
5 points clear of the drop. wasnt long ago it was 11
Lost_In_Ca
We deserve relegation...

Hutton and Heskey come on from the bench shock suprise!!! Never would've guessed that one. Eck is a tactical genius!!! How does someone manage to achieve these draws without fail when a win is always possible. Reckon Eck is a member of Mensa. If he's not, he should be.
Villan444
Actually did not think we played as bad as we have in most games this season and the line up and formation was very attacking. 4-4-2. Still some stupid mistakes at the back. Villan444 the subs had to be done because of injuries. I might have preferred Carruthers to Heskey. I though Lichaj was immense much better than Warnock. Baker and Herd were both excellent. Albrighton faded in the second half. Bendtners goal was definitely not offside as I was directly in line. UTV
Dead Souls
Lerner out, simple
eltoro
I agree with mr dead souls... that was much better than other performances this season... however we havnt set the bar very high... sick of the sight of albrighton the guy isn good enough... i like to see carruthers start a game just to see if he is as good as the small glimpses we've seen in the last few games... He has what it takes imo... not many young guys who go to old trafford want the ball as much as he did...
CDX_EIRE
how can albrighton be good? he is a right footer playing left midfield.
Gruck
I guessed as much Souls even though I couldn't be bothered to sit through the pain. He left them out as they're pony but as soon as any injury appears, he couldn't wait to put them on. Heskey came on for Ciaran last week and that's not really like for like is it. The predictable, boring, Scottish wancka can ***** off out of Birmingham ASAP.
Villan444
Oh and I missed out Bannan. LOL. They are the three worst players in our squad by far. 2 get a game as they're Scottish and buddies. Heskey was with him at Bloose so they have some sort of bond going on aswell. The bloke hasn't got a clue. Gardner and Carruthers instead of Heskey and Bannan surely. Warnock instead of Hutton FFS.
Villan444
Don't think the performance was that bad, it just highlights how badly we've missed Bent. I think we really suffer with our crossing, both N'zogbia and Albrighton were both poor in that respect, maybe why we've not scored from a corner?? On the point of N'Zogbia, does anyone notice how often he beats his man, gets in a good position (can then make a great pass to an open player) and just runs into a defender??? The guy needs to be told to make a pass when he's beaten the full back. How many crosses did McClean make, and how many did our wingers?? Not even half, combined!!
VILLA 4 LIFE
only Wolves have won less games than us this season !
reza
With QPR winning I think someone has forgot to pack our paddle - and we DEFINITELY need it up s**t creek!
griffgriff
For those who watched the game Emile Heskey played very well when he came on and with some fine skill set up a great chance for Weimann which unfortunately he dwelled on too long and missed...Gardner is NOT fully fit and has been playing out of neccessity...I would have prefered Carruthers to Bannan vy wouldn't have taken N;Zogbia off..We were NOT negative today ( I accept we have been in the past) EVERYONE worked their socks off but we lacked quality/confidence in the final third...IMO special mentions for Baker, Lichaj and Herd who were all very good
krfeskivilla
Must say I dont think we were negative today. Ok for spells we were pinned back but were were far more positive than any other match I can think of this season and that the draw was a fair result. I also think Herd, Baker and above all Lichaj were majestic today. To me it is clear that going by form Lichaj and Herd are firm fixtures in the Villa starting eleven no matter who is fit.
Tallaght Villan
Agree with everyone who is saying we weren't that bad. If Nzogbia had the ability to see a team mate and stop running into dead ends, or if Weiman and Ireland hadn't had off par performances(both worked hard and had good movement but were below their recent standards) we could have got more from the game. As for the subs, except for Bannan they were exactly the right ones
AVbornandbred
to my surprise Heskey looked like Man of the Match but I don't get why we kept kicking long balls non stop, every single attack since he got on the pitch. Surely there is little room for creativity in McLeish's tactics
Kamil
only saw the first half and thought we were ok, but you just cannot see a goal happening - like krfeskivilla mentioned - the final third lacks a class touch...
leftfoot
one other thing - Sunderlands Gardner was a bit of a thug and seeing the red card later was no surprise.
leftfoot
Well I thought we were crap, disjointed and unorganized. YES the young lads are busting their gut for the cause and looking to have a go but they are doing that off their own back. McLeish has no idea how to setup a team, train them, place them in the correct positions or motivate them. Sunderland played pretty rubbish too but created many more clear cut chances, they missed some complete sitters and had a on side goal disallowed. So for me (again) very very disappointing.
AdzVilla11
I heard on WM that Weimann go MOTM.....Lichaj for me be a country mile!
juddy
In all honesty, I thought Heskey's flick ons, couple of headers and keeping possession seemed to steady the ship once Gabby went off. I thought Gabby was really ineffective all day. Credit has to go for the young lads; particularly Nathan Baker who was getting his head on the end of everything yesterday. It was a better performance without any quality in the final third.

HESKEY AGAIN?????????
