Attendance 3000,100. These are hard times but that is a less than impressive stat. It's getting silly. To paraphrase a song by the late, great Kirsty MacColl, There's a Bloke on the Touchline Swears he's a Footie Coach. Guessing that Randy Lerner is hoping that the side stays up so he can put AM (and most of us fans and supporters) out of his misery in the summer. Presume that he (Lerner) has some sort of backup plan? No home win since Bonfire Night.

Shocking refereeing. It's one thing to allow play to continue to keep a game flowing but to wave on when Gabby's legs are taken from beneath him, Pennants ease of going to ground for their goal and the linesman giving Stoke the throw in before Herd's clash of heads were just three of several examples of blindness. Not a good weekend for ref's.

Inspired sub in Heskey again. Carruthers would have tried to much attacking business and we know that Eck doesn't like that. Can anyone say that they've had value for money in their season/match tickets this year??? The youngsters try, sure but they're being told the wrong things to do.

You lot above are disgraceful. Mcliesh (aka Gordonsleftboot) is not home yet. He will soon tell us how well we worked, tracked back and pushed up to within 10 yds of the Stoke half and played 3-3-4 all out attack and but sadly unlucky.

great goal from Weimann, glad he finally got a start and a chance to show what he can do. Shame we couldn't hang on for the win though, once again we fail to just kill the opposition off whilst we're on top. Annoying refereeing as well, and the commentators views on it. Gardener was "naive" going into Pennant like that, despite the fact he was barely touched. Then a few seconds later when Huth used Collins shoulders to pull himself up and score "Collins should of been stronger", come on... you saw Pennant go down just then right?!

There is a total lack of realism here..I'm not talking about the rest of the season but today's game...The youngsters were excellent..magnificent attitude and application...Sure they made mistakes and at times lacked composure but Stoke City RFC are very difficult even for experienced teams to deal with especially when you have such an incompetent referee..Heskey was an OBVIOUS sub for THIS game and should have been on earlier...I agree most of the season has been dreadful, but have some realism for the last three games when we have shown incredible commitment and no lack of skill

Thought our commitment could not be faulted for last 3 games - when often it has. A deserved draw for both teams is what the stats and the actual match both showed. I cannot see any player to criticise after that performance today - but unfurtunately apart from a great work ethic there was not enough creativity out there to carve open hardly any chances. The goal was brilliant, but little else to enthuse about other than the effort put in. Truth is 3 points would have been great but undeserved, 0 points would have been another PR and confidence bashing disaster. Hope Herd is ok. The one area I am always at a total loss to see is how anybody sees Gabby as a leader of the line. His best successes are always out wide cutting in, and his captaincy is perhaps too much on his shoulders and not a great position to lead by example from anyway. I'd even give it Given. Still - another point nearer safety - and I am still confidednt of at least one win from the next 2 games at Villa Park - and would love to beat Arrogant MON.

I'm sure Eck will try to take any credit for anything but the youths are Kmac's lot and been brought on over the last 18 months. The team is fighting for Stan as I'm sure they've had a massive reality check over the last 3 games. Eck wasn't capable of doing this without Randy giving them a pep talk. Heskey should not get a game whoever we play. He rarely touches the ball more than once and treats it like a hot potato. Can't shoot, pass or dribble. Flick-ons to the keeper from hoofballs is pointless.

Alex was constantly telling them to get it down and play and was going mental with the 'hoof ball'. The one statistic that stands out to me is how did Stoke not get a player booked?

krfeskivilla & stennyvilla - totally agree. its easy to see from the comments who wasn't at the game. The players gave their all in a difficult game not helped by another awful referee. One or two of the younger players were niave at times but thought Baker had a good strong game. Why did Bannan walk off when subbed?

More to the point why does Bannan play on the right when he is left footed, why put Gardener on the left when he is right footed. Why swap Bannan for Zoggie when they are both left footed and leave Gardener on the left. Why put Heskey on the left wing / midfield when he is right footed. (Why bring Heskey on at all). Why have Gabby as captain, in fact why have him in the pitch, why does he back in to the defender all the time, whi has he the same control skill level as a brick wall, why can't he do movement and positioning. And why do they claim that there was a 30100 croud when there was not, does that mean that if no one turned up they would claim a 20000 croud from season ticket holders - don't they call it attendance not "tickets sold".

I was there Gordon? Still doesn't make a difference...The players might have worked hard but still doesn't mask the fact we sit back every time we score a goal and let teams come at us, that is the reason we cannot win a game. 7 wins in 32 people need to stop defending this man, embarrasing.

Can anyone who sits near the Bench tell me what McIdiot and peter grant say when they are yelling at the players to move a yard this way or that way or making criptic circles or squares of loop with their hands. What the F'Eck are they saying? What the F'eck difference does it make?

A screamer from Weimann doesn't cover the huge cracks we have at the moment. It was against a pretty poor Stoke side and Weimann's shot was our first shot on target also which isn't great at home at that point. We have no direction, no style and the future is very bleak whilst under this current manager. Yes we have some promising young lads but we do NOT have the right man directing them about, quiet clearly Eck could direct his way out of a paper bag. Eck out ASAP

There's no penetration or killer balls from midfield, Gabby is a waste of space. The only positives to come out of yet another home match without a win, is the youngsters. Apart from that, it is poor fair being served up. God help us against Manure.

RiF, you forgot to mention Lichaj - who was man of the match the previous game - being played out of position so he could fit his favourite seaside donkey in who has NO feet, can't defend, go forward, pass, tackle, and on set pieces walks around the penalty area sucking his thumb and pulling his penis!

from where I sit I saw a team bereft of confidence with lots of effort but no-one wanting to take responsibility, passing square and back because no runs were being made. Given that we had a very inexperienced team on the pitch, how low confidence is, the fact we had one Mr M Dean as a ref, and how touchy the crowd were we did well to get anything against a stoke side who cause problems for every team in the league.

What a horrible season its been, watching the youngsters put in as much effort as they can,but the whole team looking tacticly disjointed as we limp hopefully to safety thanks mainly to the bottom teams all losing.Still cannot see why he persists with Heskey yes I understand experiance counts with so many youngsters in but its no good if that experiance is constant failure to make a mark at some point in the game.
