Stupid ref. Is he a Chelsea supporter?
Zarch
Great mini comeback but shambolic marking cost us !! to let ivanovic score twice from the exact same position is unforgivable and wer'e really in the ***** now !!!
marshyboy87
They went down fighting at least . Showed some character . Stats were an improvement on last week .

lets just hope we play better in the championship

Good support for Stan today! We lost today, 5 points from relegation, difficult fixtures, we are in trouble...But today we played with 6 youngsters if you want to include Bannan as one and they did a good job, it was always going to be difficult, Chelsea had a lot of the play yes but we had parts were we looked a threat, thought we did okay and pulled 2 goals back which was fantastic! The Ref was a joke, Agbonlahor was threw on goal and it was never a foul on terry and that lead to Chelsea's third. We were unlucky today, but i am worried about the games ahead.

unlucky in the end but could've been 3 or 4 down by half time!! worrying times indeed. . . if we don't beat stock next Monday i think we are doomed!
Angus McCoatup
Only Wigan and everton have scored less goals than us. We've started conceding loads aswell now. Time to worry when the bottom 5 are beating teams that we lose to. Can't see us pulling off any shock results in a hurry. Ok, we played some youngsters. What did randy expect?? More importantly, what did he expect from Eck and his history of working with journeymen?? Eckscuse central..... Inspired sub, bringing on Heskey. He normally changes games and snatches goals in the dying minutes doesn't he??

On a brighter note ordering your season ticket now is good value for money. 23 home games next season and with a bit of luck no Mc*****.

Effort of the kids was admirable..We only started showing any threat when we had natural width with Albrighton. Having got back to 2-2 we should have got at least a point although Chelsea had dominated. Awful referee to deny Gabby chance to make it 3-2 to Villa then ironically they get a corner from the free kick and score their third, ?&Terrible marking again, but also terrible refereeing
krfeskivilla
well that was an entertaining 90 minutes was it not?
merlin
I wouldn't say each of the 90 were entertaining but it certainly had it's moments. I was that enthralled that I thought we'd scored from a corner rather than a throw as I was reading my program at the time. Shocking decision to deny Gabby when through. Killed us off really. The first half was dire apart from the 19th minute when we seemed to attack and keep the ball!!! Still have great faith in the likes of Gardener, Weimann, etc. Thought Ireland was excellent. I'd love to think our future midfield pairing will be him and Gardener for many years.

i'm not a fan of mcleish but I have to disagree with alot of the stuff posted above. We lost to a side that will finish top six and is considered a failure because they won't get top four. We had a squad of kids out today mainly due to injury and illness and yet we put in a spirited performance, played some decent stuff and silly mistakes aside, a fantastic save by cech and some seriously dodgy officials could have come away with a very different result. Of course Mcleish shouldn't have brought on heskey after bringing on Albie, he should either have allowed Weiman to carry on playing with the injury that he had been labouring under since just before half time or brought on lionel Messi or perhaps one of the other superstars queing up to line our bench. I agree its worrying times and the teams below us pulling rabbits out of hats is alarming, I also 100% agree that Mcleishes tactics etc this season have been woeful and that he's not fit to manage us and is to blame for where we are in the league but I prefer to keep my criticsm rational.
AVbornandbred
Considering the team we had to put out it was much better than I expected. At least the young lads gave it a real go and at times played some nice stuff. Particularly impressed with lichaj, Gardner and weimann. Ref really was a joke. Great ovation for Stan and nice that he was there to witness it.
Lion Heart
I have been thinking we are safe JUST because of the likes of QPR, Wolves and Wigan but if QPR and Wigan keep winning then we are well and truly in the S$%T!! Let a goal in after 9mins, another early one. Yes young lads tried hard and some good future signs but as we all know McLeish isn't the man for the job and the sooner he goes the better. Sack now, put backroom staff in charge until the end of the season, not like they can do much worse?? Can't remember the last time we played well and got a result. Good luck to Stan as well
AdzVilla11
Chelski could of been out of sight by half time. Second half we improved slightly. With teams below them picking up points and Idiot as manager, I'm very worried.
