An entertaining first half. In the second half, we fell off a bit. Glad to see weiman score a well-deserved goal.

At last, a deserved 3 points. Such a timely first Premiership goal by young Weimann. Should of started at kick off.

Dunno Pride think the line up was correct today and tatics, either McLoser finally decided to let them attack or the players took it on themselves to start playing football, hopefully McClueless got the clue and will realise that if you attack you might actually win the game!

Quality result. Just shows that Eck is turning the corner and really a capable man who will be a villa legendˇˇ Just thought I'd get in there before someone else. Didn't see the game but on espn goals we looked good. Did I miss a performance for once this season anyone???

Although it's not the current fashion to be positive, we should remember how Fulham have been playing recently, the results they've had and the confidence they must have felt going into this match. That the team overcame all of the above counts for a lot in my book. Now move on and do it again please.

Fullham were pretty poor, makes you wonder why Joll was looking so smug on Football Focus earlier. Think we dominated today and deserved to win, could have lost it though with the cross goal balls they played in that don't count on the stats. In my view, Gabby and Albrighton were the weakest links today. Perhaps why there were the boo's and chants when McIdiot took off Charles instead of Albrighton. Nice interplay betwen Zoggie and Ireland, they have a different kind of footballing brain to the rest of the team. I think we should build on it and get them to teach the others. That would be something, a team that can ping it about like that would be called Barcelona. Well done lad, time but I think now we are safe this season.

Reasons to be cheerful 1,2,3 (points)!

I agree that Albie was the worst on the pitch. But Gabby played decently, Hutton actually played well offensively and defensively, and warnock wasn't as bad as usual. . .

Have to agree with Bob. One swallow does not make a Summer but that performance was a big improvement. Don't see any need to criticise any of the players but it was interesting that at the end we had 5 former trainees on the pitch and that must be a good sign for the future. Thought Cuellar was superb as a footballing centre half.

I am just glad we won, our performance was much better i left 10mins early lol so missed the goal but will see it on MOTD tonight, we should be safe now 11 points off relegation and a clean sheet? king Carlos is our Paolo Maldini as he is called by fellow villa players ;)

I've always said McLeish is a quality manager! A game-changing substitution to boot. Who needs Bent? Late push for European places anyone? teehee

Fulham are rubbish away from home, always have been. Yes it's a good result to FINALLY win at home but let's not get ahead of ourselves since it was our first win at home in months and we only nicked it in the last seconds, would you be this happy if it was 0-0?? Eck has been forced to play Carlos who is clearly a better option at CB and has finally started playing Ireland plus NZogbia after 27 games. Glad to get the points and edge us towards safety but all it does it buy the goose more time. I haven't changed and won't Eck out!! He's not the future.

Great performance, but lets not get carried away - other than bolton, i cant see us getting another win this season i'm afraid... he's had chances and failed. 15th is NOT good enough for the current squad - top half minimum. Great result & performance, but as gordon says - 1 swallow does not a summer make!

No Heskey = 3 points Simples. On a more serious note just glad of the 3 points. Can Mcleish possibly turn things round ?. I believe many of us would be delighted to be proved wrong if he did. But in reality what thorpy says sounds right to me.
