Gutted, although 10 mins into the 2nd half I kinda knew how it was gonna turn out. One day we will play for 90 minutes and not just the 1 half!

Absolute proof that he's ultimately negative ( as if everyone except the media didn't know,) and that he'd rather defend for 45 minutes than have a go at another team. What happened to putting the game out of the oppositions reach?? Team talk at HT was all "they're going to come at us this half lads, so be really really worried and defend for your lives". We are not the Scottish peasants and Blackburn or any other team are not the English nobles you stupid Braveheart obsessed excuse of a manager.

No team can dominate a game from start to finish. It just does not hapen. First 45 minutes was one of the best displays of the season. Second half Kean turned it around by adding Dunn to their midfield and Stan and Herd were less effective. Herd was superb but I assume tired and hence was replaced. Stan cannot play a full 90 mins anymore and suffered too. Yes we defended too deep in the second half but as noted Kean had changed their formation and we did not. Once again the focus is on McLeish. Sorry but he is not to blame for everything. The first half showed Villa attacking. We do not have a god given right to win every game and beat every team. One Villa fan near me got very upset with the McLeish out lots comments. I'm with him. McLeish? Well some wanted Hughes, others Martinez others AVB. Be careful what you wish for.

Gordonslb, i wish for positive play for 90 mins and the hope for 3 points, but we have no hope with Eck and the majority of the fan base know this and this is why we react in this way. The fact is there is better out there but RL had to pick him didn't he! Now he needs to see that we cannot even stand still anymore but e are falling like a stone with some aukward fixtures coming up. This was a "six pointer" for us and we bottled it again.

Ya Gordan cause Kean is a tatical genius and he brough on a player that would cause barcelona problems, come on wake up jesus christ, we don't have the right to win every game but we should be able to beat the worst team in the league with the 2nd worst manager (I think we all know who is worse) i don't expect us to get a champ leauge spot our team is good enough for a top 10 fin and trying to hang onto a 1-0 lead against blackburn is ridiculas and only McIdiot would even comteplate doing that, the 1st half we passed and attacked and destroyed them then 2nd half McClueless obviously put the fear of god into them and told them sit deep and hoof which just gave blackburn time to keep attacking us again and again and eventually we broke which was always going to happen, how can anyone defend that tatical stupidity I will never know!

Under McLeish this has been "We do not have a god given right to win ANY game" cos we can't even beat teams in 18th and 20th !! But no, let's not be nasty to Mr McLeish it can't be his fault can it ? The players must all collectively go "hey we're a goal up, let's just defend and invite them onto us". Like they did under Houllier and MON oh.. no, wait. They didn't. Wonder why ?

Ah yes its a few weeks since we had the 'clinical' excuse .... what will the excuse be next week .... will probably see 'clinical' again in about a month .... N'Zogbia was clinical so that was why he had to come off .... fed up of excuse after excuse ... Mr Lerner listen and get us a great manager if as you say love the club .
