Unbelievable that. We should've been out of sight at HT, were it not for the fact that Bent needs 6 chances to score a goal. Newcastle looked very very ordinary, but we just sat too deep 2nd half as Mc***** played for an ecking draw. Pathetic. Still, at least we've got a Championship manager already in place...that'll save Randy some dough. RUBBISH.

Olof..can't agree with you there..I thought we were much the better team in the 1st half, and Darren Bent showed great movement, hit the target, but Krul is having an inspired season..Keane was superb...We started the 2nd half very poorly and for the only time in the match Newcastle were in control,,A lot of that IMO was the loss of Stehen Ireland..great work rate and passing ability...Unfortunately wee Barry is a good player ON the ball but very poor off it. Hence the lack of 'doubling up' to stop their cross for the winner...I am not an AM fan but he made the RIGHT decision in bringing Emile on..we started holding the ball better and retook control..Gardner should have come on ten minures earlier..In every appearance, Chelsea, Rovers, Wolves and today he has come close o scoring..once one goes in, he will be a 15 goal a swason man from midfield IMO...Very disappointed with the result BUT there are signs that we are playing better passing progressive football..can we keep it up without Keane?

Still look hopeless in defence in my opinion...Warnock did nothing in that game to change my mind that he is the worst Villa defender ever ! Dunne not much better, far too pedestrian and clumsy. However I think Hutton is looking a little better. Gardner looks a good prospect. Unlucky today though I thought.

Agree with Olof we should have been at least 2 clear by half time. Once again we only really played one half as the 2nd was just sit back and hoof it forward. Gardner made a difference but we left it too late. Some of the things the back 4 did really was comical at times. Difference was Newcastle took their chances but we didn't. Very disappointed, points were there for the taking today.

krfeskivilla - thats exactly how i saw it... i was surprised to see better shape when heskey came on (I know goes against everything i believe in). bananaman had some nice crosses but his tackling is poor. Warnock AGAIN is a liability, gave the ball away too many times and his crunching tackles meant taylor had to go off injured. Which is not good at all... Both their strikers are on fire and great hitters of the ball... We should have won however. Gardner looks the real deal. Keane also gives 100% every match which is great to see.

Can't agree with you krfeskivilla. Zoggy was playing well. Heskey brought nothing to the table at all. Three poor substitutions IMHO. First two completely wrong and the 3rd (Gardner) too late.......

Concerned about reasons suggested for Ireland coming off,,missed him...presumed it was an injury..hope that is the case..I was actually very disappointed with Zoggy. got lots of great possession, but only chose the right option once..runs down blind alleys a lot..miss the natural width Albrighton gives us..all about opinions but I thought Heskey did really well today.. one thing we all seem to agree on is the great potential of Gary Gardner.. I think AM is handling his progress very sensibily.

Heskey adds nothing to the team at ALL...he doesn't win headers, and is always falling over, his career is over, why can't anyone see that? Disgusting how he gets a game when there's a perfectly good youngster in Weimann who can step up and be twice the player. Yet again we were only good for one half, Bent needs to finish his chances, simple as that. The defense is going to continue to be shocking lets face it, been awful all season and they will carry on until they are all replaced, we need to score 3 to win a game. Scared to think about what City will do to us next week with our *****e defense, Warnock against A.johnson, Aguero, Nasri? LOL. When Keane goes back to MLS, we all should no whats going to happen aswell, Heskey will go into the attacking midfield/second striker role, i can just see it now...*sigh* when will this nightmare end.
