KEANO!!! ;)
Adam Deuce
Good job we signed Keane aha, we would of got nothing from that game without him.
P.Avfc
hmmmm what minute did he get sent off? we were not very good in the 1st half....
KSarge1
dont care.....we won.....
reza
I'll hold my hands up, I criticised the signing of keane but fair play to him he knows how to put it in the back of the net. Even if he does nothing else while he's here it's worth it for that win. Still not quite sure how we won just delighted we did!
Lion Heart
if we get 18 points and 6 from Keane....it'd be well worth it......
reza
Well, what a pleasant surprise, I didn't expect that.
Pride of Lions
Quality three points made even more important by results elsewhere! Apolgies to Eck re Keane. Seems like he may know something after all... Now to convert that away form to home form .....
ByEck
anyone know why Ireland did`nt make the bench ?
Lionheart2010
I though the football we played in the second half showed glimpses of the kind of football we ought to be playing. Good job Eck and Keane! UTV!
soccer15
Heard Ireland had a stiff muscle - not sure which one!
Gordonsleftboot
Living in Wolverhampton as I do...thank God for that...otherwise my life wouldn't be worth living ! UTV.
MASON_PARKER
Keano! Stay please...
Olofthegreat
Still can't defend corners... but what a great result....thanks Keano
Rightsofway
I love it how the Eck haters can't face posting anything positive after a win.
piperuk
Usual poor defending on set pieces, but a welcomed 3 points, well done to keano, that result is enough to convince me we are staying up for another season at least unless a disaterhappens form wise, i do not care who the manager is piperwhen villa win, as im happy and WANT to see villa win, europa here we come!!UTV
clivethevillan
Keane has scored more goal in the EPL this year than Torres
Lost_In_Ca
God you lot are fickle. One week it's AM out at all costs, then a single decent performance against 10 man relegation struggler's and suddenly he knows what he's doing again?
SchoolBoyError
Not a single one of their players would get into our side and but for a late goal we'd be in 15th, let's get some perspective.
SchoolBoyError
Important three points from an uninspiring performance. Good to see Gary Gardner get a start. Up the Villa. Three cheers to the players. McLeish out.
voiceoftheholte
Great striker by Keane to win it but I for one still don't want to look down on the side line in a year and see Eck, no way!! We are still all over the show. Eck out!
AdzVilla11
How we won that I don't know but I couldn't be happier, have to say didn't understand the Keane signing but he was worth it just for those 2 goals, still want McIdiot out couldn't stand another year of 1 good game in every 5 or so.
KerryVillian
Happily eating my words about the keane signing - 3 points we wouldn't have had without him and to me any other points he wins us will be a bonus. Hutton remains hopeless in my eyes but Warnock proved how good he can be - if only he were consistent.
revolutionatlast
Got to say McLeish deserves some credit (wow that was hard to say) bringing warnock on changed the game, clark was getting run ragged, put him in the middle and we look a much better passing side. Warnock has had his doubters recently, but his hard tackles at the start of the 2nd half really got us going and he reacted the right way to being dropped UTV
AVNath
Good point well made avnath. Warnock isn't a bad defender. Although he has had a dip in form. But evey player goes through this and it is important to see how they react. Credit to McLeish for 'resting' him and credit to Warnock for a positive reaction. As supporters it is our job to support players when they go through a rough period, unfortunately we have a large section of fans who would rather ironically cheer struggling players or boo them when they make an error. It shows a complete lack of class as a supporter. That said support for the team and the players and support for the manager are different things. Players can only do their best with the instructions, guidance and confidence that should come from the manager. Mcleish hasnt got a football style other than launch it to the front men. He doesnt create confidence in players (look at how Nzogbia, Albrighton, Warnock, Hutton, Delph and more), he hasnt learned how to rectify the mistakes of goals from set peices (another one yesterday) he doesnt know how to create goals from set pieces (last goal from a corner we scored anyone????). He has created a team that can sneak draws and the odd win away from home, but who havent got a clue at home when the onus is on us to take the game to our opponents. Please Randy listen to the fans and encourage McMuppet to tear up his contract and walk away from Villa Park.

Exactly. Would MON of made a half time tactical switch? Nope. Uninspiring performance? I thought we played some superb attacking football and could of easily scored another two. Yeah Wolves had a good spell but they were the home team FFS.
Piperuk
james collins watched the first wolves goal go in, and was again slow at the ball for their second. Keanes 2nd goal was a peach.
leftfoot
interesting reactions. I still want Mcleish out but thought we played really well in patches yesterday. When the dingles got up a head of steam late in the first half the lack of confidence showed in the team and if half time hadn't of come we would have been in trouble. Except for that patch though and for a kitchen sink onslaught for the last 15 mins (when we had a couple of chances on the break to seal it) I felt like we were the better team. Dunne and Collins only know how to hoof but apart from those two we played some good stuff and defensively both Dunne and Collins threw themselves at everything. Just a shame we can't defend set pieces.....
AVbornandbred
thank goodness for the win, we'd have been 15th, now we've pulled away from that battle. Great goals by Keane, just wish we'd been able to buy him not loan him! Happy days, lovely to win a local derby, no matter what the style or other arguments are!
The Fear
Piper, MON wouldn't need to have made a genius (lol flukey) substitution because the said player wouldn't have needed dropping in the first place. Eck demoralises players and as said above has ruined several this year already. Wolves are shocking and the only team as negative as ourselves. Not sure which manager I'd like least over Eck and the constantly moaning Mick.
