It was a young team with a mixture of players like davies who havn't had much football + Heskey was playing who really needs to be flogged on a free transfer if possible. Downing was useless and he really doesnt do it for me at all, I no its early but if i was madonald and he gets money to spend, id look to a creative winger to go on the opposite side to albrighon.

Piper obviously we got young, But im classing him as if he was playing in his advanced position meaning downing and albrighton both on the wings. So still i say id like to someone other than downing. Reo is crap, Agreed hog was out of position but didnt thinr reo did that bad, he did alot right but alot wrong especially towards the end of the match. And Heskey as always poor, need him to go

give the youngsters a break!..games played in europe are about results. it was a good result...especially compared to last year!....so back off and get behind the team!

Why are Villa fans always seeing the negative side and complaining about our own players? I don't rate all of Villa's players but i will always be behind them until the day they leave. We were away, we drew, we got an away goal, and this was with pretty much our reserve team - this is GOOD!!! UTV!!!
