Short of saying I have no idea how we lost that and thank God for Hull, I'm not going to comment today. I'd only be saying what I've said all season.

Loads of shots on target. Just one of those days.

we are the most boring team in the league by far. We cant score unless its a set piece

We should have had this game sewn up at half time but because of our poor finishing we got hijacked again .. It makes me wonder what type of things they practice at training , I don't think shooting is one of them .. My guess is half the team hang around the penalty area while Ash swings crosses over their heads or to the keeper for 4 or 5 hours a day .. Making it to Europe means nothing unless our glorious leader takes the competition seriously .

Lads calm down! The way you're carrying on it's as if you've been relegated. If you like we could give you the win today as long as we get your European qualification, your squad of promising Englsih talent, your millions ready to spend this summer and your excellent manager. Deal?

Angry Villa Fan, most of our goals this season have been from open play. Last season was the set piece season, this season we just couldn't convert our set play!

I am just grateful that in the best league in the world we can be considered a top 7 team, and finished above the scouse. We now have one of the best defences in the the league, and if you think about what we will look like with a 20+ goal scorer, *drools* you get the picture.

Pass...Pass...Pass...Pass...Pass ( Between Dunne, Collins and Cuellar ) Pass...Pass...Pass...HOOF...Defend, get ball back, Pass...Pass...Pass...Pass AGAIN getting bored of that but a bit of imagination from a striker today, not someone as static as Carew and we'd of scored 5

Listed as an own goal by Dunne all other sites but here.

Typical home performance just slightly worse, rubbish.

a pretty boring game to end a fantastic season, but there were 3 good things about this game ....... 1 - Hull did us a favour and at least it didn't cost us 6th place. 2 - Luke Young ... great to see him playing and he looked much more lively going forward than Cueller or Warnock. 3 - The loudest cheer of the game was for the linesman doing ' a Heskey' and falling on his arse ....
