Well that was a bit of a let down. Then again when you have wingers who can't cross, strikers who barely move and a manager who persists in bringing on a player who exists to be a 5th wheel whilst taking off our only threat I suppose it's what you get.

Not been a bad season by any stretch of the imagination, but again it could've been so much better - predictable to the end.

Maybe that will encourage MON to stick Cuellar in the middle... and play (GOD FORBID) a right back at (wait for it, wait for it) right back!

ashley young couldn't cross the ball today?? u serious? agree with the lack of movement from the strikers though. DOWNING WTF was he doing on their 2nd?? standing off the pitch!!! get on the dam line, that was either a complete brain fart or he jus doesn't know what he is doing, that was about the worst thing ive seen from a villa player this season. starting to seriously have my doubts about him. anyway cuellar and young did well today, we lost away to a good side. still maintain we have had a better year than last. come on chelski tommorow. up the villa forever.

Yeah Benny I'm thinking of all those from within or just outside the penalty box that didn't even have the hope in hell of being deflected in because he continued his Jonny Wilkinson homage. I'm really not sure if it's chicken and egg. Strikers don't bother moving because 99% of crosses miss them, or wingers don't bother crossing properly because 99% of the time the strikers can't be arsed to get there.

Jump on me for being negative i dont care but i was very disappointed with Villa yesterday especially in the first half . I used to think Warnock was one of the best but for the last month or two he keeps giving the ball away and now he's giving away unnecessary penalties . I knew it was going to happen but when Heskey came on i put the Kettle on .. I've never walked out of a Villa game in my life . I like Martin but these kind of brain ***cks aren't going to stop its in his DNA , we have some great players but tactics are not a great part of his game neither is rotation . Villa have been on the verge of great things as long as i can remember and i think that is where we are going to stay .. on the verge . I dont care that we are in Europa because Martin doesn't respect that competition and will get us booted out early again . Moan over . Get stuck in .

Your defence is the business (Warnock is out of form but still a good player), but you need at least two forwards and someone creative in midfield if you are going to push on. Agree with dog4ever, WTF is Heskey still doing playing for a prem side? There was an audible sigh of relief at CoMS when he came on!
