Sounds like a fair result all round and we are well on course for taking the title again. Good to see the return of Bouma and Reo-Coker and a second reserve outing on the trot from O'Halloran, although you would still think the Semi will come too soon for Boum and Hokey.

Seems like our reserve team follow the lead of the first team, in not making substitutions. Very pleasing to see NRC back in action, that was something that we weren't expecting to see happen this season. I was under the impression that 'the other' James Collins had gone out on loan somewhere, clearly I was mistaken. Useful point, not the end of the world as we chase a successive championship, but a pity all the same that we allowed Arsenal to grab the late equaliser.

There's usually at least one lol I think the returning from injuries swayed the changes this time round. Collins did go out on loan to Darlo I think, and bagged himself a couple but it wasn't a season deal.

Looks like weve overtaken arsenal in bringing up talented young players nice to see and gd thing for the future but then agen martin oneill will probably flog them like he did with cahill, only joking i think hes learnt from then and if these players r brought up right we could be getting our brilliant players weve been dying for without even having to spend anythink

Surely the point of our reserve team is to prepare players for the step up. To date only gabby has really achieved that in the last few years. We had a glut of players come through, but that reflected the lack of investment by the old regime in quality talent and the new regime has spent to replace them. This leaves the thoughts that either our reserve players are not of the right quality for the PL or that final step up is not being managed well enough. I live too far from VP to see the reserve games but would love someone who sees them regularly to give a view of the reason. I look at Albrighton and Delfounsa in bursts and they look the real deal to me. I hear a lot about Bannan and some of the others. But Wayne Rooney was already a PL player at the age of most of these. What is the issue?
