sounded like a fair result on five-live. they said if anyone deserved 3 points, it was us. plus, city lost so i'm feeling more confident about the final. bring on craven cottage!

yeah man, city would perhaps have been hungrier for it/if they beat us in the final, it'd kind of justify the Barry move. It's gonna be such a good game! Rooney was full of praise for the villa in his post-match, credit to him.

With all the service from the wide areas tonight, how much for a proven goal poacher I believe it would be the missing piece of the jigsaw. UTV

MON only makes one sub again, think that`s half the games this season.

Surely that 'on target' stat can't be right?!? I thought we played well tonight and that Heskey had one of his better games. Downing's final ball was lacking. Gabby's hold up play is good but despite all of our excellent approach play we didn't make enough chances. Two cup games with a total of 15 goals sandwiched between two league games with ZERO goals. Some how I just don't quite get it. Really glad to see Fabian get on tonight. MON clearly wants to get him involved which has to be good news. Oh & Man Utd in the final!?!? That'll do. Barry.... Who are ya?!? ;)

i wpuld have taken 0-0 at the start - however i feel we should have won, - what would Owen have done?

We played ok tonight, good approach play, Gabby worked hard to come short and lay off, A Young put some great balls in, but never ever does anyone look like finishing, Heskey shot from distance early on sums it up, no pressure, on his own and..... I still don't think they have found the ball

4 league games 0 goals! 15 in 2 cup games, give delfouneso a chance can't hurt our chances of scoring! good to see Young play well again!

Oh yeah I agree Ashley's form has definitely picked up in the last two or three games. Long may that continue.

I watched the game in my local London pub with the other TV's showing the Bham City game (well done Chelsea - Ha) and the City v Man U game. Bit of a distraction but the pub was packed and ive woke with a hangover this morning. Was it the Guinness or the game. I thought we played well at the start with some clear chances, good crosses from Young and defensive work from Dunne and especially my MOM Collins, he was superb. Was crying out for fabian or fonz to be brought on 20 mins before MON made the switch. Thought, as predicted before the match, that the Gabby/Heskey partnership looked, tired, predictable and out of shape. Why oh why we dont try 4-5-1 with Fabian and give the Fonz 45 mins up front on his own, i dont know. In the end we were bloody lucky to hold on to a draw, with Arsenal having the clear chances - One off the cross bar, one off the post, Fabregas missing by a wisker and the impressive Vermaelen being substituted. However Well Done for a hard earn draw boys !!! and please please PLEASE MON ..... either change the formation to 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 for the next game or use Fabian earlier and give Heskey and gabbie a rest by using the Fonz

Just read that back - my MOM is not called Collins - lol. Oh and you should of heard the comments of "Now we're in trouble", when the brought Cambell on, from the Arsenal supporters. All i can say is thank God Fabregas had an off night, or was it Collins, Carlos and Dunne that kept him quite?
