You could see it coming sadly, lost at the death and punished for wasting our chances. Not much else you can really add.

Top result, thoroughly deserved, 2 losses back to back, here is that big fat crack opening up, it happens to little teams with deluded fans, the weight of expectation and all that.

Classic, well done lads, see what happens when you have a decent striker.

This shows how crucial this two game period is; City were six points behind villa before Christmas and are now above them in the table, with Liverpool just 2pts behind. Villa could have tried better.

Cheers guys. To be fair it was an undeserved result really, unlucky goal and a draw would probably have been fair on balance. We got fairly beaten by Arsenal but this one shouldn't have been a loss. Never mind, onwards and upwards. It's only December after all.

same dickeds wanting a piece of the villa! never has it been so true that they only sang when they were winning. I'll look on the brightside and see us stilll up there in our present poor run. Yep two tough games just gone with some easier opposition coming up we can get back to winning ways. BTW, i hold my hands up and say great finish by torres, someone who we could do with. On chances we should have had this in the bag. UTV.

Funny how the bin-dippers and Spuds come on here to gloat, its December and they both appear to have won something and made great achievements, not so long ago Villa thrashed liverpoo at Anfield and also not so long ago The mighty Gunners thrashed Their much lesser neighbours 4-0, the Season ends in May, lets see where it all ends.

Why is there no option to pick nobody in the MOTM poll? Nobody stood out more than another.

It doesn't seem to matter which pair we play our two strikers always play as if they have never met each other before, we need to find a partnership or we won't win again until April, too many chances are being missed and teams who can rely on a Fabregas or a Torres will always be a step ahead, also be great if we could concentrate more in first half and second half injury time, we seem to concede an enormous amount of goals in time added on

We were at the end of the day masters of our own downfall, we gave the ball away cheaply and got punished.
