not a great performance, but 4 goals (debut for downing and a PEACH for Milly), the villa travelling were in fantastic voice - as per, and emile got a decent performance under his belt. strangely, i'd be happy to take on $ity, le arse, chelski or united in the two-legged semis! glad that spurs fans had somewhat of a comedown, too. hopefully we'll gain some points on them @ the weekend providing everton get some luck and hull settle down. lovely jubbly :)

Nice to see DJ Stu get 90 mins but why did the fonz only get 1 and Delph etc. Yawn. Manure's reserves are currently easing past Spuz. MON has lead the way tactically against them and others should follow suit. They can't break teams down and are a flash in the pan. Just reeling them in.

Gibson scored a couple crackers against spuds, Milly down the center certainly enhances the creativity we appear to be lacking in midfield, as demonstrated tonight. looking forward to the draw!

Just saw goals on SSN. Great finishes from Emile and Jimmy...the others too were a bit sketchy but great result - I too love the look of that midfield. Check out their line-up though, never even heard of half the players! But can't complain...oh yes I can, I'm a Villa fan...

The best midfielder in the creative mould Villa have is Barry Bannan. He is better than the players we pick time and time again. He will make it big style when given the opportunity and he would and should be lighting up the Premier League now.

SSN just showed the goals. Have just been re-living the 2 legs vs Tranmere back in 1994 to my uninterested girlfriend. Would love to avoid Man Utd and then get them in the Final.

I hope we get Arsenal in the next round. I fancy beating their kids over two legs. If our kids can beat theirs then a strong first team should be able to surely... then again? Then bring on United for a colossol final at WEMBLEY!

Guzan is a good stopper. Was at the game last night, although I am a Colchester fan. Pompey just could not live with your pace! Put money on Gabby as first goalscorer, he let me down! Good luck in winning the whole thing, boys!
