I know it's only a pre season tournament but who'd have thought we'd have walked away winners with the other sides that entered? Mainly the kids used throughout too. Good stuff.

Some of the kids look great, Albrighton especially, this not including the Fonz who has just picked up the 'Golden Boot' at the u19 tournament

now you can see why these kids walked the reserve league! Beating teams like porto and juve is something special for these youngsters. We have some fantastic prospects!

Funny isn't it - only last week we had people on here lambasting MON for going to Spain in this (I use the words some one here used) "worthless" competition. We played decent opposition rather than the lower league/non leagues. Decent experience etc. It was worth enetering in the long run (regardless of Stans injury - which could have happend in the UK aswell). Gave the kids/team some decent pre-season rather than just a kick around.

Any idea when they get back from Spain? I'm tempted to go to Oxford tomorrow night but am wondering what team are going to play there. I'm hoping that Gabby, Milner and Gardner are going to play alongside some others but not sure who...
