Great match, great performance with plenty of positives. Porto and that ref should hang their heads in shame. It's meant to be the Peace Cup, not the cup for dirty, cheating, diving w****** to be egged on by a total tool with a whistle.

Proud of the youngsters today mainly but Guzan was excellent, Cuellar came on leaps and bounds, Sidwell reminded me of the Ginger Ninja we saw tear us apart a few seasons ago and Albrighton was very tasty. Lowry and Herd didn't mind getting involved and Clark looked very stable in defence. Seems a shame to not name anyone for a special mention actually and I haven't felt like that in a long name!

A good day on all accounts, and once again Scum fail to prosper.

I think Guzan IS pushing Friedel for the 1st place now! Competition is good! Friedel wont give up his place without a fight! Great alround team performance! They made us all proud tonight! Well done lads!

GREAT PERFORMANCE, WATCHED IT LIVE......... GUZAN PLAYED VERY VERY WELL, REMINDS ME OF SPINK IN HIS DEBUT DAYS. IMPRESSED WITH THE ALL THE YOUTH THERE IS DEFFINETLY POTENTIAL THERE,SOLID DISPLAYS FROM SIDWELL AND COKER, NO FAULTS AT ALL, IT LOOKED AS IF THE PLAYER SAID SOMTHING TO HESKEY BEFOR HESK SHOVED HIM IN THE FACE, WAS A CLEAR SENDING OFF THOUGH PRACTICALL;Y ASSAULT. WILL BE GREAT P.R FOR VILLA TO BE INT THE FINAL.
