I ask the same as northcliffe.. and does this mean we won't be signing anyone for another few days until we get back cause thats the impression i've got so far.. just imagine that squad in the premier league and our star man from last year anyway gets injured. If he's out as long as luke moore we would be in real trouble. i just want him to sign atleast 3 players so i don't have to worry about these things.

First half display was marginally better than the Malaga game. Lichaj got burned for their goal (ok Davies' OG). Thought we were much better in the second half. Surprised at the subs used & playing Young as a lone striker. Expected Harewood to come on at some point. Obviously he's going to be leaving, can't see him putting up with being behind all the youngsters. Lichaj had a better game. Cuellar started to look more impressive too. Davies was shakey a lot of the time. Shorey was alright. We need help at the back for sure. Anyone know how long Luke Young is out for with that thigh problem? Albrighton had a good game, decent crosses & was still sprinting hard in the 90+ minute - certainly one for the future there.

Some very definite plus points to leave us all in a slightly happier frame of mind than we were after the Malaga reversal, but still way too many concerns to pacify our thoughts and beliefs, that new arrivals need to be in place sooner rather than later. The Luke Young scenario remains worrying, as indeed does the injury to Stilyan Petrov. This depleted squad of ours cannot stand many more injuries, particularly as a ball has yet to be kicked in anger.
