Lowry, Clark, Guzan, Parish, Herd fail to get on the pitch.
Friedel fails to hold a simple ball, Osbourne fails to hit a ball, strikers fail to find the goal.
Welcome to the new season....and for the optimists, at least Reo-Coker didn't end up at right back and speaking about right back - Lichaj looks very promising. An unfortunate misjudgment that led to the goal but he's not scared of being involved in a match.
ps - why two goalkeepers on the subs bench?

What a disappointing, uninspiring, ninety minutes of actionless, passionless football, that was from our lot. Nowhere near good enough. O.K., it was only game three of our series of pre-season warm up games, and a few of the players were making their first appearance since returning to the fold from their all too brief summer recess, but even so, that shambles of an offering was unacceptable. We barely threatened throughout, the old failings were once again clearly in evidence, and even our new signings were completely invisible!!! Clearly we are still a long, long way off being ready for the upcoming premiership campaign, and Martin O'Neill must surely be acutely aware of the huge volume of work that lays ahead of him between now and the big kick-off on August 15th.

Apart from Lichaj & the odd bit from Albrighton we were complete rubbish tonight. American commentator kept going on Malaga only having 13 senior players on their roster & only using 1/2 of them to start the game, the rest were kids.
Very disappointing performance indeed, things can only get better right?!? Right!

dont want to be nasty - but surely we were watching the same match rite? Lichaj is average at best, aside from his mistake in the second half they picked up he was the weak link and started hoofing everything down his wing. i know he is young an he could get better, and i know yesterday was just a friendly but god there is no other way to put it it was a shocking match in almost every concievable way.
