5 points dropped against a team that has only scored 27 goals in 37 games. 9 less than West Brom. Would have been so nice to send them down. Only our second point in 6 away games after 7 wins on the trot ?????? Don't normally like stats but our dip in form and MON being unable to win a game in March 3 yers running let alone Feb or April's rubbish needs addressing. We need to make sure we win next week and send the Toon down just for us suffering fans and our lame home form. Bring on next year ASAP. UTV

How is next year going to be any different with the same manager? O'Neill's supporters say we should have faith in him, yet even they then go on to say that this needs to happen, big money needs to be sent, and a 101 things need to be done differently. O'Neill is what he is, for better or worse. Expect more of the same next season if he's still manager. Whether that will be good enough for a top half finish or not, time will tell.

Have more faith. The season was good, and only if Laursen... oh, he will be so missed

Aston Steve - post deleted, the first time I suggested, now I'm telling. Debate the points, not the poster.

Bye bye 5th. The barcodes will do us easy. We needed 5th for this season to be a success but we've thrown it all away. Gutted

not sure medzy, certainly won't go into the game with that much confidence as our home form has been the Achilles heal this season but if we have a good day we can see off the Magpies and Everton have a tough away tie at the resurgent Fulham. Fingers crossed! That said, what will be, it is down to the whole season, not just the last game. Think the momentum was lost after Moscow BUT ALSO the MASSIVE loss of Laursen.
