Why oh why cant we defend set pieces..! one attack from Wigan results in a corner and low and behold they score from it . MON has said that we work on set piece defending and attacking in training earlier in the season when it was pointed out to him how dreadful we have been from them but i think it is clear now that the players are just not very good at them which is why they must be replaced by better in the summer. Having said that apart from Bergers craft we had no one else who looked like they could unlock the Wigan defence..! Wasnt Petrov bought as a goalscoring playmaker...? and keeping Steven Davis out of the team...? I suppose we have to give him time but i hope he comes good next season as well as Ashley Young or they could turn out to be 2 expensive flops.

I can't fathom how they get 50/50 possession, this is from the control panel thing on the official site, so no idea who does the stats, might be what Gary Shaw does pitch side I guess.
