bizarre game, never really got going, not sure where the 3 each on target comes from in the stats but totally delighted with the 3 points. Lucky it might have been but we are digging out results even when we aren't on top form, can't complain at that. Now get shopping Mr O'Neill !

That had to be Barry's worst game for a long time. He realy wasn't at the races tonight. Although he did well in speaking to the assistant ref.

It would appear that the luck that it often takes to maintain these nose-bleeding heights of the premiership is finally descending on us. I thought we were poor in most departments. In the game I was watching, and as industreous as he was, Petrov was poor – he kept giving the ball away or running into brick walls. Barry and Sidwell faired no better and Hokey-Cokey drifts out of position alarmingly. Why isn’t Shorey playing left-back and Luke Young right back? Have I missed something here?

It's not surprising that we struggled at times. We had a huge amount of possesion and we nearly always fair better when we can sit back and hit on the break without having to actually run the game.

That'll do nicely. You have a point claretandbluestu, Shorey should be playing. I thought he was just starting to gel in when MON dropped him. To be honest I think 'something else' has caused him to be dropped, in the same way many people think is the reason Carew isn't playing. 'Back injury'....hmmmmm....

Great atmosphere in the stadium, the Hull lot were well and truly up for it. Crowd support wont keep them up though, they are very short on premiership quality.

Below par, yet another three very valuable points pocketed, thankyou very much. Thats a knack that all of the very good teams have acquired over the years, lets not knock it. Beats playing well and losing.
