I will happily take that!

get in, what a game, yeah we could of won and maybe should of but after 91 mins id of taken a point.
1982benny
and on another point i know knight and reo-cocker get a hard time due to their technical ablilities but they give 100% everytime they get a chance and thats all we can ask
1982benny
i have never...been so out of breath. so angry, then so elated. we have shown, i think, that we are favourites to finish in the top 4. i am off to drink and be merry
ric112
we could have won that easily if ashley had been playing ! was he injured or rested ?
atkinson villa
on the plus side tho sidders is getting better by the game !
atkinson villa
atkinson villa i am now officially confused?? are you talking about ashley young?? you know he played 90 mins right. sidders was my man of the match though just gotta get that finishing touch i see a little of platty in him
1982benny
4 points off 2 games against Arsenal and it feels like a defeat... Happy times for us Villa fans :D More than deserved draw today, and with a few signings in January, we won't be far away from the Champions League coming May!! UTV
delirium
benny no need to get confused it was just me being sarcastic i love the way ash plays he just didnt seem to be up for it tonight , we all have off days ,even me! the boys desererved a win especially after that first half performance! UTV
atkinson villa
LOL!! Get in!! Brilliant. I never doubted we'd get something from that game even at 0-2 down. Never Say Die! We shall not, we shall not be moved!
Adam Deuce
sarcasm goes right over my head...lol. i though he did alright though. that was a strange old game though. not sure if i should be happy, sad, angry, jubilant. i dont know ill go with drunk
1982benny
beat you to it benny [hic]
atkinson villa
What a finish from knight! Who needs carew?! Better yet the two of them up front together, unstoppable in the air. Laursen centre forward as well in a 4-3-3, why not?
NorthcliffeBandit
Well, there was amazing elation in the North Stand after the game, but lets just pause and think for a minute. We drew...we threw away two goals. Why? We lost our shape for 15-20 minutes. Players didnt get back into their positions quick enough and the class of Van Persie et al. took advantage. If we want to be top 4 we have to be on the ball for the whole 90. Ash and Barry - imo our best players - didnt perform today. Stop dreaming about the top 4 - we are not ready...yet.

Reo-Coker was excellent today
gunnerkid107
I agree gunnerkid, NRC was outstanding tonight. I was there freezing my ass off in the very weather I tried to run away from. But god it was worth every minute. I'm so proud:) Up the Villa!!!
Villan-in-Cyprus
WHAT A GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Games like this would never had happened a year or two ago...we are definately part of the top 5...journalists/broadcasters take note - sick of hearing about Villa breaking into the top 4. it's now a top 5!! I know the media have their favourite areas and Birmingham is always left out in the cold but I cant wait to rub all their noses in it. Great christmas, bring on 2009!! UTV
industrial_musical
real happy for knight, its good to have a player like him who is willing to bide his time, although this is his hometown club of course. I like him since he scored against chelsea in his first game last season just he is inconsistent, but ill let his goal wipe the slate clean =) and at least we didnt lose, and arsenal didnt win. we just ended their title hopes
AussieVilla
a very well deserved point in the end.......but I have to say, if you had had a bit of better luck early on...you would have beaten them out of sight.....!!!
lincolnblue
Eight yellow cards dished out, that would suggest a niggly encounter, but I think that it was anything but. Was it two points dropped though? Only time will tell.
glensider
Hero's one and all, every Villan played his part. To go 2-0 down after dominating for so long was a cruel blow, but all credit to the lads for rolling up their sleeves, and fighting back to salvage a point when all looked lost.
