Who thought we wouldn't bounce back eh? I said two points from the next two would be minimum to get us back on track, we've already gone one point better.

It matters not what the stats say the all Important one is Arsenal 0 Aston Villa future Champions League team 2. Villas manager beat their manager hands down.

What a fantastic result, the Vital Arsenal guys aren't happy, some are saying we battered them today. GREAT GREAT result, now lets hope we can try to break the Man Utd hoodoo and really mix things up a bit at the top!
The Fear
i had a fiver on us to win today , so double wwwwwooooo ,get in!!
atkinson villa
Yeeeeeehhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Villan Of The North
YES! WHAT A RESULT AND....WHAT A GREAT MIDFIELD!

I said after the Middlesbrough loss that I thought we had missed Petrov, and today he played his part. Reo being dropped was a little over due. Although I was a little surprised that MON actually dropped him! Great result and fully deserved. Hope the same team start against Man U next week.
Nigel-not-Reo
Yep, Sidwell, Barry and Petrov all excellent. At the back Carlos is pure class - he should be fastracked to 'legend' startus.
PiperUK
well played lads, you fully deserved the result. I fancied our chances when I saw that Carew was on the bench. I couldnt believe I was watching the same team that beat Man U but I wont take anything away from Villa, you were by far the better team. We need to watch out as you look good to nick our champs league spot!
gooner303
Superb! Can't believe this is the 1st time we've beaten them away since Whittingham and Townsend '93!
olafthegreat
Fair play to MON, I thought with his stubborness that he would never drop Nige. A big step forward for us and a signal that no-one is untouchable in our squad (he didn't even come on as a sub with 5 mins left which is another trick of MONs to keep them happy!!!!) Arsenal look shaky and their champs league place is there for the taking .
Villan444
Arsenal are a fantastic side and to do them down there is unbelievable well done lads. We might even make the first 3 matches on MOTD for a change!
Villan57
that is bloody awesome, i wish i hadnt fallen asleep to watch it. can someone tell me why barry didnt take the penalty?
AussieVilla
well I called this game right. I said back to back wins. Let's finish my prediction against manure!
los_angeles_villan
FIRST on MOTD!!! Woo Hoo!! We've finally made the big time!! What a bloody great win!! Oh, and to those fans who went to The Emirates today - great work boys and girls, didn't hear a peep from the Arsenal fans but the noise from our contingent was outstanding!!
godzvilla
A remarkable afternoon, one of those games that down the road those of us who made the trek, will be proud and pleased to admit that we were honoured to have been there. Certainly made up for the disappointment that was St James Park.
glensider
He was off the pitch following that clumsy Fabregas challenge Aussie Villa, a tackle for which Fabregas was deservedly booked.
