Apologies this is late, just wanted to put it through so the stats at the end of the season are complete. We had a technical problem so couldn't enter after the game!

anybody else still hate this game? I have this horrible feeling inside that will only go when we bring them to our place and give them a good mauling!

Hopefully it was a one-off industrial_musical, but there were some worrying signs there that need to be rectified, and quickly. Talk of us giving them a good mauling at our place is way premature, unless we sort ourselves out and get back on track. Man for man, on paper, we are the far superior looking side, but as we all well know, that counts for nothing once the action gets underway.

Some supporters were quick to blame Mark Halsey or Stoke's route one, up and at 'em football for our defeat, but to do so is merely looking for an escape route to avoid our obvious failings on the day. We weren't good enough to win, and eventually proved, we weren't even good enough to avoid the defeat. Stoke offered absolutely nothing that we surely hadn't suspected they would. They were very limited, but gave their all, and never stopped chasing or harassing. We should have been able to have dealt with that.

No doubt a certain Mt thomas Sorensen was out celebrating long and loud on Saturday evening. He was certainly laughing and joking with the Villa players pre-game.
