Thank you and goodnight!

ermmmm, whats happened we seemed to have lost our way a bit, not good enough for europe, maybe got ahead of ourselves there. shame, still been a good season in my book.... mr carson tut tut tut
krisvilla
Whole season has gone tits up since the Arsenal game. Or was it the holiday in Spain?? Sunderland had only got 3 points from the previous 30 away from home. After going 24 games of constant scoring we can't find the back of the net now and still can't even keep a clean sheet. All we had was Osbourne as a supersub to worry the opposition. MON had to act in Jan. I have saved AVFC48 a job in moaning
Villan444
....something happened in the 94th minute at the Emirates Stadium, and we aint quite been the same since, me thinks.
claretandbluestu
oh well....

Carson should return to liverpool. Taylor deserves a chance. We need two new full backs as well as a reliable keeper. We haven't become a bad side overnight but there are still too many questions about our defence.
The Usual Suspect
Cant believe you lost to Sunderland had u in a £1 accumulator £800 down the swanny if leeds beat walsall gutted
HuddersfieldYiddo
accumulators, are the evil of the world, bloody lost £25 the other day on a damn accumulator
krisvilla
No competition for places whatsoever in our side. No matter what the form is like who is going to miss out?? Will Maloney play as winger or move Gabby back to Right-Wing and play Harewood is the only consideration O'Neill has to make most games and he chooses Maloney. He dropped Petrov and since then the team has picked itself. A bench of Osbourne and Salifou is not that of UEFA contenders!!
deano.avfc
My concern is that if the "mid-table mediocrity" returns MON is not going to attract high quality players in the summer. We all know the squad is in need of strengthening.
claretandbluestu
The man won't play Routledge. Its just baffles me. Get rid of Maloney and ease Routledge in!!! We need to do something soon or the season will flush out on a downer!
notaspur
Almost 43,000 people had to witness that complete and utter shambles. As Deano says though, where do we turn to shake things up? Loss of form etc was always going to hit, it had to, and we just dont have strength in depth to offer alternatives and options. We have to go with what we've got, and unfortunately what we've got doesnt look up to the task. That was pitiful. The better team won, and good luck to them.

Three attempts on target? I find those three efforts hard to recall. Did Gordon actually have a save to make?
