great performance ruined by a pathetic ref. Pat Herd / Tom Ross said he looked like he was waiting for the equaliser before blowing the whistle. Mugged.
The Fear
BUM, so close

What a disappoinment, but what a great result, especially having lost NRC and CD - looks like we might have some decent subs after all ...
BobTheBuilder
If people expected Villa to go to the Emerates and tonk the Arsenal then think again, a point against the Arsenal away is a good result, have no doubts this will do us no harm on the big scheme of things. If Villa get results like this one in the near future we will be heading for Europe, MON has the team high on confidence and self beleief. Be nice if a few other results go our way this weekend...#

Told an Arsenal fan at work yesterday that Gallas would be crying again! So close to a clean sheet, but it wasn't to be. I'm very proud of the whole team though as I hear that the injuries caused some positional problems. Tis a great season to be a Villa fan... UTV

Gutted...but a great performance by Villa! End of season sounds promising...in MON we trust!
delirium
absolutly gutted by that. but proud at the same time, we held our own and should of won (where did that **** get 4 mins from) against the top team in the country after having 2 key players injured. just remember about 2 years ago we lost 5-0 away to Arsenal and now we are gutted with a draw there.

For anyone who can answer me this, how was Mr Carson today?
Carlosio
He was o.k. Carlosio, had a decent game in fact. Flapped at a corner once, palmed the ball to Senderos, but apart from that he made a couple of good saves, and did what he had to do well.
glensider
If he had come for the cross they scored from I would have said he was good today, but no clean sheets since November says it all.
Hoss The Villain
You cant totally lay the blame at his feet for that though Hoss, surely? I dont think we've looked that secure at the back for a couple of months at least now, and until we tighten up, then we'll continue to ship goals. Scotty is not completely to blame for that.
glensider
but Glensider we need a scapegoat :-)
