dunno what to say, different Fulham side i've seen in a while, they really wroked hard. Carson is no way in my opinion a 10 million keeper, his positioning for the free kick was awful, the ball wasn't even in the top corner. Hope Gabby and Davies are alright.... injuries
krisvilla
Fulham deserved the three points, we deserved nothing.
The Fear
yeah i suppose, well done fulham, we aint lost much ground but we could of been on 44 points with Everton
krisvilla
yeah..gotta agree....we were not at the races.... if only Laursen had not balooned that....we'd have been 2 up and three points.... anyway...well done Fulham...
reza
carson is def not a 10m keeper, he is about as commanding as Oakes was
wislor
Carson England's Number 1. You're having a laugh.
storagematt
Too many poor performances. No excuse the game was there for the taking. Agree about Carson, and not just because of this one game. 10m? Never.
Gordonsleftboot
we need to get a good balance of experience and I think the goalkeeping position should go to someone older and wiser. When was the last time Carson kept a clean sheet? I hope he doesnt play for england cos he's not all there, Rob Green is a way better keeper
krisvilla
Not true, Fear, we deserved a sharp kick in the cojones and clip 'round the ear. Bravo to Fulham, particularly Mr Bullard who worked his rugby-player-lookalike arse off. Also, an honourable mention to Shaun Maloney who reminds me of a wasp that can play football.
Carlosio
Got to agree about Carson's positioning for the free kick. Shocking. Gutted really. Without either Young or Gabby we never really looked like scoring. Rather worrying. Any news on Gabby any one? He'll be GUTTED if he has to miss his first England call up.
Adam Deuce
MON said its unlikely, poor chap, lets hope he's back for Villa quickly. I Don't think he's playing good enought to get england all up the past few games, so blessing in disguise, get his form back then impress the nation
krisvilla
Carson is not up to scratch and a liability,Carew will not get us goals we need to sort those positions out before we'll get Europe.Thought Harewood looked better than Carew and needs to take his chance now.If I had to pick a player to score a winner against us Id pick Bullard, this is a really bad result for Birmingham at least it wasnt a defeat against one of our rivals.
Pking
Really embarrasing, we were outplayed by the team 2nd from bottom in the division. We deserved nothing from the game.
DeanoVilla
Both side were poor but it was Young we missed only 3 crosses for a team like us whose game is usually all about width is poor. Also the 3 crosses we did make were poor. We never got behind the Fulham back 4 and never ran at their defense. I am not convinced by Carew although I think he is a 1000% better than Baros but to be fair to him he was asking for the ball to played in lower for most of the match. He never had a chance to do anything with balls played in from distance and in front of the defenders. Maloney as good as he is doesn't run at people like Young and on the right Petrov was missing. MON swapped Petrov around but he was still poor. Hopefully Routledge will give us a sort of Young type player on the right then if chances are being made and we miss them we should look at the strikers.
daveldvilla
I want Maloney on the right, I think its important we keep him happy or we might lose the wee little nipper. I hope Marlon gets a go ahead of Carew against Newcastle, Carew has his moments but you can see how hard Marlon is working, Carew just didn't do it against Fulham and we're supposed to be all about giving chances to those who try hard and do well.
PTP
Where was our Jimmy Bullard? Someone prepared to mix it, get involved, and make things happen. A total shambles Martin and the lads. Nowhere near good enough.
