Feel kinda sorry for you lot, looked like you were going to hold them off...still, a draw at Anfield isn´t too bad.
Blue is the colour
On Liverpool Vital, I predicted 2-2 yesterday, honestly.

Fair play to Marlon - thought he looked very bright and positive when he came on and Kaka would've been proud of that goal. In the team against Blackburn on Saturday for me!
Alec
Bizarre game, awful for 69 mins then we really should have won! If only gabby laid the ball off we were 3 against 1 at that time and it would have been 3-1 game over. Oh well, for the first 69 mins I'd have taken a draw! Bring on Blackburn!
The Fear
I've just voted for Marlon as MoM, simply because he's taken a LOT of stick from Villa fans and has the guts to carry on fighting his corner. We've already seen Stan come back from being written off by his own fans - what price Marlon?
BobTheBuilder
As a Villa fan who works in an office surrounded by Liverpool fans Id like to thank the lads yet again for their efforts tonight, and fair play to Marlon, the goal clearly meant the world to him.

intresting stats - you really could have won it, but looking at there 17 shots to your 4, you would never have thought so! in a way, im quite glad you didnt, as it keeps us in the running, although with man u and chelsea up next, i doubt we will stick with you lot...but you never know!

I've just been on the OS. The report of the game begins; "Villa produced a magnificent second half display and can count themselves unlucky not to have come away from Anfield with all three points" Erm... Were they watching the same game?! I thought we were shocking until Super Marlon turned the game.
Adam Deuce
Ashley Young now facing suspension after reaching five bookings (I believe). That will be a blow, but an opportunity will now be there for someone else to step up to the plate.

Good point Glensider. We were awful for 69 minutes and at the end we dropped 2 points at Anfield! We missed Barry in midfield and it worries me that we rely so heavily on 1 player to make the team tick. Young again proved ineffective against better opposition.
Hoss The Villain
We've certain played better at Anfield, and came away with nothing, so I'm not going to complain too long and loud about last nights overall performance.
