AC- I think its what you call being wise to the inevitable, man utd are very good and they got a hoo doo over the villa to throw that in too. I knew we would lose, we looked tired and probably a blessing indisguise we are out and concentrate on the league, a cup run could of strectched the team even more

1st time villa aint scored for a while, carew looked unfit, on the plus point though Davies looks good, no more zat "I fall asleep"knight for a while. Need a goalscorer and to play it on the floor we kept hoofing it up to Carew, really rather annoying!

Watched it on TV and I thought Laursen and Barry did well today for you . I thought Park was poor for ManU and should have been brought off much earlier

I think Barry floored Ronaldo twice atleast :D Carew was unfit but glad he didn't start Harewood, Laursen did well, and i think Mellberg didn't do too badly he was in Man Utds half more than our own, if only he had abit of skill to him he would be dangerous, Floored Evra which was pretty funny.

KrisVilla, my thoughts exactly - smallest squad in the Prem... a possible blessing. Thought it would be a sell out today - Villa were one of the few clubs left that in recent years got decent gates for THE cup competition. Time moves on.. another tradition fading away. Sad. How may do you reckon United brought ... 5,000?

6,000 i think, its a home game for em, oh well, just really frustrating , villa looked lethargic against a very good man utd defence, Vidic is class and kept gabby at bay very well, but on the other hand gabby didnt get much today
