not sure on attendance, official site at the moment has it down as 47 938 which would be very impressive! Think it was just under a sell out so hopefully the 43k figure is nearer.

Not if Curtis plays as he did in the last minute today. Looked half asleep. Also thought today that the team looked sounbalance without a proper right back. Melberg is being really shown up now for his lack of ability going forward. Shame because he is a good central defender.Get the right back and we solve the centre half position to - or bring back Cahill.

would still love to see Mellberg and Laursen, that is the best partnership we have, they just read each other better. Mind you, I liked Cahill a lot as well.

To be honest, althought its early days for Davies, From what i've seen so far Cahill looks better than both Davies and Knight. I agree the first choice is Laursen and olly paired in the middle though. How much did Derby not like Ashly Young today? They could not live with him at all. It was a close call for MoM today in my opinion, could have gone to Young or Laursen - both deserved it.

He looked more comfortable on the ball, he passed quite well and when he was moved into the middle he imposed himself on the game quite well. He's started to create a couple of openings for the team as well. It wasn't a blinder of a performance, but it was a damn sight better than some of his recent shows.

He showed a bit of vision too at times. One chest down and ball into forward into space was a clever move. He is better than before -sShooting still woeful though.

Another 3 points, O'Neill seems to be getting it right this season and you have a good blend of youth and experience.

Good result against a poor side. Need to keep the results coming for a European spot.

Martin Laursen again put in another world class performance and deserved his Man of the Match champagne, for him to get injured would be an unthinkable blow to the team.

impressive attendance, especially when we can only fit 44 odd thousand in the ground! ;o)

Had to give my season ticket to a friend so couldnt go, impressive attendance, anything over 40k against Derby is good. sounds like Petrov had a solid game, i'm glad, these are the games he needs to play to get his confidence back.

Possession 65/35. Changed the attendance. Official site had it down as 47 980 so all the bbc etc followed with that stat which would have been very impressive indeed as we only hold 42 640

Nice to see us take care of business against a lesser side, sometimes teams have a tendency to play down to the level of their opponent. Gotta do it again vs Blues

Three points, relatively easy victory, a few positives, and now for St Andrews. Hopefully Ashley Young's injury is none too serious.

Another reasonable Stan Petrov showing. In the words of C,S,N,Y, 'Its Been A Long Time Coming', but he certainly looked the part today.
