Lucky, lucky Villa. But I'll tell you what. Can you tell me what these three words have in common? Poor, Diabolical, Disgraceful? They can all by used to describe the ref today. Shocking. And I'm a qualified ref!
Miss_Aston
Lucky schmucky, you can only beat what's in front of you and today we got 3 points, which we desperately needed! We have probably played better in other games this season and lost...i'll gladly take a 2-0 win!
Thegreatdando
I was there, and me and my pals all thought there were some awful decisions by the ref. I was disgusted!
Layzee
Good to see a 35000 plus crowd against a team like Watford. No offence to them but they don't exactly attract the crowds like Man U and Liverpool.
Villain Of The North
Phew....................... 3 points so important. Young in, a midfielder or 2, another striker and we'll have a third of a new team. Come on you Lions!!
Gazvilla
Does anyone know how Bardsley got on, on his debut?
Thegreatdando
He was quite good - the defence as a whole looked solid.
Miss_Aston
Its an overly used phrase in this great game that we all love, but surely todays encounter well and truly fell into the realms of a 'must win'. Thankfully we did.
glensider
yeah bardsley looked really good to me. I was unsure as to how he would do but he surprised and its good to have him at villa!
Layzee
Decent enough crowd I thought. Are our gates on the up now? I certainly hope so.
