Hard Luck Villa. We got bettter as the game went on amd many played well. Davis and Baros much improved. Silly midfielders penalty to give away running back, thinking he would help out and committing the cardinal sin. Still thought we could win it after that but we are not potent enough up front. Two recommended new players that we need - I reckon a guy called Luke Moore would be a good one and a fit Mark Delaney if ever he could be anything like again. But we were just unlucky today - although get the feeling if we could have gone at it like we did in the last 20 in the first 45 we would have got the 3 points. We wasted a lot of first half free kicks for sure. 3 points against Manure are unlikely, but not out of the question. Here's hoping....

astonvillablog says it may be time to give Angel away. What kinda bull***** is that, if its gunna be anyone, it should be either Baros, as much as he is improving (slowly but surely, not fast enough) or Sutton (yes hes goin gret, but hes not a long term investment and hell burn out completely sooner or later) we need to keep Angel, hes one of the players the team should be built around.

If you cant/dont score goals, you aint gonna win games. Sad but true. Once again, our lack-lustre finishing let us down.

Look at the goal attempts! How did we not get at least a point?! Well played Jaaskelainen AGAIN!

We were damn unlucky, but you are gonna have matches like that it happens to everyone.

Enough clear cut opportunities to have won the game 4 or 5-1. Bolton offered nothing, were outplayed, yet took the points. Looks like a long, hard struggle ahead of us perhaps? Certainly some very tricky fixtures.
