chelsea fluked a lucky win.... ! ;o)))
The Fear
Are Barry and Laursen OK? Sounds like Chelsea had a point to prove and the team lacked depth when 2 of our best players limped off. Rome wasn't built in a day. UTV
Gazvilla
lets hope they are ok, can't afford to lose Barry this season and it would be a crushing blow to Laursen if he has another injury.
The Fear
4-0 defeat, Villa out of cup and Barry and Laursen injured I think am gonna be sick
Christo
Barry might be a bad one they've said on the radio, think it is his hip, hendrie will have to be re-called now I'd have thought.
The Fear
january could'nt come quicker now
samtozer
laursen suspected medial knee ligament damage again! it just gets better
Belfast Villain
Just got back , great suppport inept performance I am afraid and the injury news just compounds it

We were well and truly beaten. Never in it. Such a disappointment after our heroics at the same stadium a couple of months or so back.

Well I don't know what went wrong there guys, I thought and hoped that you would give them a hard game! The worst thing about this loss is having to endure the gobbiest fans in the premiership harking on about the win for weeks.....ohh the pain!!!! I would like to say unlucky, but......
Cravens
Forget the result, MON is still trying to build a team. I want to know where the Chelsea supporters were. Villa take 6000 away fans and still the league champions can't fill the stadium. Lets just hope this doesn't happen to the Villa when Randy and MON have turned the Club around in 2 or 3 years time! UTV

The combined transfer fees that Chelski paid for their goalscorers was 88 million. Even Shevchenko cost more than the whole Villa team. So lets have some perspective. Chelski have an owner who can afford to run a club at 140 million loss each year. This could not happen in any other industry. The injuries are a worry but in the long term, the players, especially the kids will learn more losing to the Russian Roubles than they will ever learn on the training ground. UTV

Gulf in class says it all really. Chelsea's one touch football was sublime and we were just chasing shadows for 90 minutes. We could have atleast mustered up 1 shot at goal in 90 minutes tho!
DeanoVilla
We were pulverised last night. It just yet again proves that we will need to spend heavily to compete with the Top4.

So nice to come on here after last nights heavy loss, and not be faced by loads of whinging and negativity, it was what it was, as pointed out by voth one of their players cost more than our team, other factors involved include the fact that they did not take us seriously last time and it very nearly cost them, they have just come from a loss, Jose chucked out the best he could and made sure they took it seriously, UNBELIEVABLE, as I write this the radio news is on and I have just heard that some ars**ole who calls himself a VILLA FAN threw a plastic bottle at the Chelski keeper, now as everyone that attended last night was a season ticket holder that cuts the suspects down a bit, someone reading this knows who did it, do the right thing, hand them over, there is no excuse for that type of behaviour, whoever you are, you have brought shame upon our club, you disgust me.
steff_the_villan
Good luck to the injured duo in their quest to return early. Nobody likes to see player's sitting around injured.
merlin
sort of gives you an idea o fthe game.... only 1 shot at goal in 90 minutes ... not your night I guess............
ernshaw
Ouch!! No, double ouch. Outclassed.
