I cant believe little Wigan did the double over us. How embarrassing! DOL is certainly going for that worst ever premiership points finish isnt he?

< sarcasm mode on> What are you on about, we are in a thrilling competition for 14th place. It is just Soooooo exciting. Sounds like we played ok but at the end of the day, we have again failed to win a back to back game, ffs, we should be able to go on a run of 2 wins surely?! Got our bogee team coming on Saturday then we play Liverpool. Easy.

DOH, I meant on Tuesday, the game has been moved. Mind you, might go and claim my seat for saturday instead, fancy seeing a decent team. Who's playing again!? ;-)

All the old defensive faults were in evidence again. A game we could have/should have won. First half pretty much a non event for both teams apart from the Bullard goal, but second half I thought we gave as good as we got. Point(s) *****ed away though.

Amazing isn't it? We always end other teams bad runs. Then Aitkin comes out and says we should have won.

Did anyone really expect us to win this?? And looking at the number of goal attempts I fail to see how we 'should have won'.

I'm afraid a run of results to us this season has been one game and one game only

Enjoying a pre-match drink we were in conversation with three Wigan season ticket holders, who admitted that the 2006 Wigan performances to date were way below the standard they had set in the earlier part of the season. Typical then they get back to winning ways against our lot.
