1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

I have supported Villa ever since I can remember. My dad supported them and I took me to my first game which was actually a league cup second replay at the Hawthorns versus Wrexham in 70/71. I was 8 then and have been going ever since,

2) What is your favourite Villa moment of all time/most treasured memory?

Favourite memory is obviously the European Cup Final followed closely by beating Man Utd in the 94 league cup final.

3) If you could bring back a former Villa player into this team (at his peak) who would it be and why?

I would love to see Dwight Yorke back as a player. He always had a smile on his face and those dinked penalties at Sheffield and home to Arsenal were unbelievable.

4) Steve Bruce? Your opinion please?

The jury is still out for me on Steve Bruce. I think he is a bit cautious as a Manager. We should smash teams at the bottom end of this league but we haven't so far. Ask me again at Christmas now he has had a full preseason.

5) Best and worst moments of last season?

Worst moment was Preston Away, I work up there so took some awful stick. Nothing for me sticks out as a great moment so Kodjia shutting up the waste of money chants against Bristol City was great.

6) Your opinion of Doctor Tony Xia and our CEO Keith Wyness?

The Doctor and Keith are doing all they can so I have been very impressed so far other than the Di Matteo fiasco. I wanted Chris Hughton at the time and think we would have had a much better season had that been possible.

7) What do you think we need most in the transfer window?

A goalkeeper and a proper playmaker are required in this window.

8) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?

no answer..

9) Favourite and least favourite current player? (Explanation if you wish)

Chester was my favourite player last season for sheer consistency. Unfortunately, there is still some of the old guard here so my least favourite would amount to 5 or 6. You all know who they are!!

10) Who was your first footballing hero and who are your favourite all time player/s?

Bruce Rioch was my first hero and favourite all time player of all time is Yohan Cruyff. It was a pleasure to see him live at Villa Park.

11) What do you expect us to do/finish this season coming?

I expect a top 6 finish next season, hopefully top 2!

12) You can ask yourself any question you want to about Villa and what is your answer?

When will we win the European cup again?

Answer 2021 hopefully!!

Just to change the theme slightly, a snap shot of you outside of football, answer or ignore at your leisure:

I wonder now why Bruce Rioch is not mentioned in the same breath as other Villa legends, he had a shot on him like a fking rocket.
