Vital Villa Interviews 2012: Holte999

Vital Villa Interviews 2012: Holte999
Holte999 is next for the Vital Villa interview.

1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

Late 60s as a young lad, phoned the police station to get directions to Villa Park from my house, which they did willingly. First match against Blackburn with crowd of about 19,000, thought it was amazing.

2) Paul Lambert? Your opinion please?

Wanted OGS when his name came up but well chuffed now with Lambert, feel excited about a fresh start.

3) Best and worst moments of last season?

Sacking McLeish, not going to see one match for the first time in 45 years.

4) Your opinion of Randy Lerner and the board, can a decent season next season make up for last season?

Hopefully he is learning, just wish he was about 20 billion richer.

5) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?

Players to buy, To be honest I haven't a clue, the only players I would really like either wouldn't come or are too much money, time for Paul Lambert to unearth some gems

6) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?

For the right money any could go, would like to keep Given and Bent but it would depend who we could get if we sold them.

7) Favourite current player?

Hard question, but would go with Given.

8) Favourite all time player/s?

Andy Lochead, John Gidman, Brian Little, Gordon Cowans, Paul McGrath, Martin Laursen

9) What do you expect us to do/finish this season assuming a decent transfer window with 25m or so spent?

Premier: Top 12
FA Cup: Quarters
Carling: Quarters

10) You can ask yourself any question you want to about Villa and what is your answer?

Most enjoyable decade watching Villla?

1970s, Promotions, cup wins, travelling all over the country, standing terraces, great atmosphere, 60,000+ crowds.

11) Just to change the theme slightly, a snap shot of you outside of football, answer or ignore at your leisure:
