Surpsy is next for the Vital Villa interview.

1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

This is a little complicated. My moms side of the family came from Aston and I remember having a Villa shirt at primary school one of my cousins still has a program from the 1957 cup final. Then a strange occurrence happened, I remember being in the final year of primary and the teacher asked who supported Birmingham City and no one put there hand up, so I did. To which the teacher stated 'you deserve a medal', which as an eight year thought was a good thing. At about 14 years of age my mates dad was taking him to VP for Villa WBA. I went we won 3-1 and I was back from the dark side.

2) Paul Lambert? Your opinion please?

He was my first choice last year, I even said to my mate (a Norwich Fan) last year that he would be our manager. It never happened then but hey we have him now. I think he has brought a feel-good feeling to Villa which we have not had for years. Plus the omens are there (a strong fine manager from Norwich who stands for no s#$t.

3) Best and worst moments of last season?

I live and work in Asia and did not catch many games, I think the worst game I saw was Swansea at home we were atrocious. Best would be the ex-manager leaving.

4) Your opinion of Randy Lerner and the board, can a decent season next season make up for last season?

I feel they have done a fine job, apart from the a fore mentioned manager they have, it seems bent over backwards to please the fans. We have a great training facilities, academy, the Holte pub was restored and spent more money than I will ever get my hands on, on players.

5) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?

Realistically I have a feeling James Milner may be back. Messi looks like a good prospect.

6) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?

The defense

7) Favourite current player?

I think Andraes Weiman is a great player, we can save the so called pot of money to sort out the defense. I think he would work great with Bent.

8) Favourite all time player/s?

Of the players I have seen down VP my favorite still has to be Gordon Cowans

9) What do you expect us to do/finish this season assuming a decent transfer window with 25m or so spent?

Premier: 6th
FA Cup: Quarters
Carling: Final

10) You can ask yourself any question you want to about Villa and what is your answer?

Why do you think Aston Villa are so disparaged in the press and media ?

This really wrangle me to my core. Partly I think it is the presses fascination with Manchester not being the 2nd city, also the glamor of London and the downright lucky streak that was Liverpool in the early 70's and 80's. I watched a program the other day on the History of Football. We were not mentioned once. Another incident was 60 great sporting moments of the Queen rule. MU were in there twice, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City. Us and Nottingham Forest not a dickie bird. Grrrrr !!

a) Which celebrity/s would you most like to meet and why? I not have a proper answer for this, celebrity's just don't bother me. My first thought was Rihana for obvious esthetic reasons.
