Vital Villa Interviews 2012: AdzVilla11

AdzVilla11 is next for the Vital Villa interview.

1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

1985 when I was 5 and have been addicted ever since. Why? Because we are the best plus my dad and bro are Spurs fans….yuk!!

2) Paul Lambert? Your opinion please?

First season wins league one, gets the manager of the year award, second season gets 2nd in the championship scoring the most goals, gets manager of the year again and then last year 12th when everyone said they`d go straight back down. That all sounds pretty good to me!! I like his ethics and style, I like how he rotates (one thing that drove me nuts under MON) and he adapts his tactics often as well. The biggest draw card for me though is that his teams seems to 'have a go` no matter who we are playing or where we are playing, that`s what I`m looking most forward too.

3) Best and worst moments of last season?

Worst - signing McLeish / Best - Sacking McLeish

4) Your opinion of Randy Lerner and the board, can a decent season next season make up for last season?

Last season will be forgiven but never forgotten. I used to call him king Randy but for now in my mind he has been dethroned. Done excellent things off the field but needs to back Lambert to improve things on the field.

5) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?

Cuellar, Sturridge, Johnson, O`Hara, Holiett, Kalou, Pienaar a hard CM and some defenders but don`t ask me who!! Also I'd have Milner back but I`d let the whole squad have shots from the pen spot at his bare bum for being so silly and leaving in the first place!

6) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?

Bannan, Collins, Warnock

7) Favourite current player?

Petrov, Bent, Clark plus NZogbia and Ireland (You watch the latter two go this season)

8) Favourite all time player/s?

Merson, Yorke, Larsen, Dublin, Milner

9) What do you expect us to do/finish this season assuming a decent transfer window with £25m or so spent?

Will we get 25mil?? I think top 8 should be the target and good football. Win the league cup while we are at it as well.
