Vital Villa Interviews 2012: Green Villan

Vital Villa Interviews 2012: Green Villan
Green Villan is next for the Vital Villa interview.

1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

Born and bred a Villan

2) Paul Lambert? Your opinion please?

Wasn't overly excited but Villa could certainly move forward with PL, he would be good at developing the younger squad members and he would not be a happy chappy if the squad put in 'non-performances' again.

3) Best and worst moments of last season?

Best moment was watching our up and coming youth in the Next Gen' competition and the Chelsea win at the bridge, worst has to be the rest of the whole of the season, a complete right off.

4) Your opinion of Randy Lerner and the board, can a decent season next season make up for last season?

I'm going to reserve judgement on the board and Randy, what I do know is he has a lot to prove and needs to get this appointment right.

5) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?

I don't know what players by name but we need two new CB's, two new CDM's and a couple of strikers.

6) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?

Dunne, Collins, Warnock, Delph and Delfouneso

7) Favourite current player?

Shay Given

8) Favourite all time player/s?

McGrath, Bosnic, Daley and a few more

9) What do you expect us to do/finish this season assuming a decent transfer window with 25m or so spent?

Premier: 6th - 10th
FA Cup: Quater Finals
Carling: Semi Finals

10) You can ask yourself any question you want to about Villa and what is your answer?

Q) Can Villa move forward? A) I think we can

11) Just to change the theme slightly, a snap shot of you outside of football, answer or ignore at your leisure:
(based on our WHO ARE YOU thread!!!)

a) Which celebrity/s would you most like to meet and why? Paul McGrath, it would be great to speak to one of the greatest Villa players we've had.

b) Age 27

c) Location: South Birmingham

d) Favourite alcoholic drink: Lager

e) Favourite non-alcoholic drink: Flavoured water

f) Favourite Film/s: Butterfly Effect, The Warriors, Rollerball

g) Favourite TV Show/s: Documentaries, Simpsons, Russel Howards Good News

h) Music?: All kinds, too many to list

i) Best ever moment in your life: Having access to the players bar when I was younger with my dad and uncle

j) Ambitions: Have to get back to you on that but I guess one of mine is to be a football manager

k) Wise words: If you don't play with your full potential on the pitch then you don't deserve to wear a Villa shirt (msg to players)

This seasons should be a good craic, been extended from 16 teams to 24 now so tougher competition for the youngsters.

I'd like Delph to be given another chance, that's if he can get fit and stay fit, but the rest I'd pretty much agree with.
