Vital Villa Interviews 2012: We`re Not Fickle
We`re Not Fickle (formerly mcleishout.co.uk) is next for the Vital Villa interview.

1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

Been a fan for as long as I can remember, first game I remember is v Bradford in Division 2 in 87/88 but been told that wasn't my first game. Come from long line of Villa fans so its in the blood!

2) Paul Lambert? Your opinion please? (at present we are assuming all goes well and he comes, if not I`ll email those who have responded with a new question!)

Very pleased with Paul Lambert, was my number 1 choice from start. A winner that is coming to us on the back of 3 seasons of success (unlike the previous incumbent!)

3) Best and worst moments of last season?

Best moment of last season - The day after the last game when we were put out of our misery and McLeish finally got the boot.
Worst moment of last season - All of it! A nightmare season that should be forgotten by all!

4) Your opinion of Randy Lerner and the board, can a decent season next season make up for last season?

Very scepticle of Randy and the board now, they let us all down last season. Hopefully that can put it right this season with Lambert and some investment in the squad.

5) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?

Too many to name! we need a new back 4, a new midfield and another striker!

6) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?

All of them except Given and Bent. Far too many trouble makers in the squad and a number of players quite simply not good enough.

7) Favourite current player?

Darren Bent - best striker we have had since Yorke left.

8) Favourite all time player/s?

Gareth Barry - Great player and never let us down, cant knock him for leaving especially with what he has gone on to achieve.

9) What do you expect us to do/finish this season assuming a decent transfer window with 25m or so spent?

I expect a massive improvement from last season. 10th in the league is a reasonable target, FA Cup: 3rd round (lose to Man Utd) League Cup: QF.

10) You can ask yourself any question you want to about Villa and what is your answer?

Any question? Favourite Villa goal. Kevin Phillips at the Sty in October 2005.

11) Just to change the theme slightly, a snap shot of you outside of football, answer or ignore at your leisure: (based on our WHO ARE YOU thread!!!

which celebrity/s would you most like to meet and why? Alex McLeish

got to agree with the above except about Barry.Lets not forget that he wanted to leave for Champions League football with Liverpool and then Man City came in with more money and no Champions League football and he couldn't jump quick enough. He was a good servant for Villa but why could he not be honest with us the fans? We are not prats! That is unforgivable. At least Milner and Young were honest with the fans
