victort steps up for the Vital Villa members interviews.

Q: When did you become a Villa fan and why?

Late 70's - My dad was a Wolves fan, but we moved to Sutton when I was a Kid, and Villa were the local team

Q: The season just gone, good bad or ugly? What did you think of it?

More good than bad --- didn't really expect us to get 4th, and was glad we got to a final. Home performances were some of the ugliest moments

Q: Best and worst moment of last season?

Blackburn semi final was pretty good, Beating Blues was def the funniest moment.
Wigan was probably the worst

Q: James Milner... is he off do you think? If so, what price (realistically) should Villa hold out for? If off to Man City, which - if any - of their players would you want in exchange?

Probably off - not too bothered if we get 30 mill or so, as I think he is overrated.... Wouldn't mind Ireland, Richards or Santa-Cruz (I know no one else does - but hey, just an opinion)

Q: What signings (type of player or specific name/s if you wish) would you like to see Villa buy this summer?

Forlan/Podolski/Santa Cruz to replace Carew, Keep Gabby, Milner or Ireland in midfield,

Q: Where do you stand on Martin O'Neill (I don't mean literally, that would be assault) ?

He's in the job, they have a 5 year plan, and we are doing OK, so although he is annoying with his squad selection and purchases, we are still at the top end of the table, and competing in cups --- Sensible to give him this season

Q: Your opinion of Randy and the board?

No worries.....

Q: Favourite current player and favourite all time player/s

Probably Dunne at the moment

McGrath, Mortimer, Cowans some of the best all time.....

Q: Do you expect progress next season, difficult to answer before the transfer window closes I know?

No -- I fully expect us to be up around 5th-7th, and hoping for a decent cup run --- Would like us to take Europa seriously, but doubt that will happen....

Q: Right, lets lower the tone... which celebrity would you most like to bang and which (male I would think) celeb would you most like to thump!?!

Chris Moyles, Colin Murray, Russell Brand, all extremely thumpable.

And if pushed, I could raise a smile for Gabby Logan
