Vital Villa Summer Interview: jack_1982

jack_1982 steps up for the Vital Villa members interviews.

Q: When did you become a Villa fan and why?

I was 7 and my dad took me to my first villa game. It was the youth cup final in 2002 and we hammered an Everton team who had Wayne Rooney up front after that, i wanted to go every week!

Q: The season just gone, good bad or ugly? What did you think of it?

Good overall. Reaching wembley twice was not what i was expecting but i was disappointed with the lack of activity in the January transfer window when we obviously needed a couple of players.

Q: Best and worst moment of last season?

Best Moment: Beating Blackburn 6-4 in the carling cup semi final.
Worst Moment: Phil Dowd at Wembley.

Q: James Milner... is he off do you think? If so, what price (realistically) should Villa hold out for? If off to Man City, which - if any - of their players would you want in exchange?

I would love to keep him whatever the offer is but realistically, if Man City offer 30million, he will be off. For an exchange i would want either Ireland, Hart or (this sounds ridiculous!) Barry back.

Q: What signings (type of player or specific name/s if you wish) would you like to see Villa buy this summer?

1x GK: Sebastien Frey (Fiorentina)

1x RB: Van Der Wiel (Ajax)

1x CM: Arteta (Everton) or Hleb (Stuttgart)

2x ST: Keane (Spurs) and Bent (Sunderland)

Q: Where do you stand on Martin O'Neill (I don't mean literally, that would be assault) ?

I really want fans to stop moaning about him. If he went, who would we be able to get to better what he has done here? Nobody! I just wish he would be more active in the transfer window and actually spend some money on players we actually need!

Q: Your opinion of Randy and the board?

Fantastic.

Q: Favourite current player and favourite all time player/s

Current Player: Richard Dunne

All Time: Paul McGrath

Q: Do you expect progress next season, difficult to answer before the transfer window closes I know?

If we keep the same squad as last season, i expect us to finish 7th or even 8th. If we sign all of the players above, any place outside the top 4 would be a disappointment.

Q: Right, lets lower the tone... which celebrity would you most like to bang and which (male I would think) celeb would you most like to thump!?!

I'm 15 so its hard for me to answer this one!!!! Megan Fox and Cheryl Cole are stunning though!
There was someone at my 5 a side tournament today who had a vuvuzela! Every 5 minutes he was blowing it and i could have give him a thump in the face!

A celebrity i could punch in the face is Cristiano Ronaldo the cheating girl!

With thanks to jack_1982
